you could go left up to the roundabout and go around it, then back to Halls Rd that way. You don't have to cross the road if you want to be a bit safer. A merging lane is a good idea though.

maybe your "friends, friend" has concerns about the health and well being of the dogs if they actually do go back to your "friend"

just as well you hadn't already gotten a pup

I'm happy to tell price first up, can save a lot of time, but I wouldn't answer all those email questions.

Cavvies Purchased From Registered Breeder-

No one even knows if the breeder was actually contacted or it was just a bullsh!t story told by the owners. I have cats, I would not take back one of mine if they were not cat safe. -
Nsw Greyhound Green Collar Assessment
Rebanne replied to skyesblue's topic in General Dog Discussion
Not in Vic, unfortunately - any dog can be assessed (ie they don't have to be in the program), but they do have to go to the GAP kennels for the week long assessment period. Has that always been the case with GAP Vic? I don't recall that with Bart but it was a while ago that he was assessed. Its fabulous that this change has now happened in NSW and I would imagine it will make greyhounds more appealing as pets. it was changed a few years ago for legal reasons Trisven13 -

Not GAP but the government has altered the laws regarding selling of dogs with ongoing medical problems which means GAP, and other rescues, have more leeway. -
you don't know a lot about breeders do you, both of those bolded statements show that.

got nothing to do with how dangerous they are. Vic government has relaxed the rules about selling a dog with ongoing medical issues, hopefully NSW will follow -
Nsw Greyhound Green Collar Assessment

I did read it but got a little confused. my reading of it was that you will pay a fee, get a book to give you guidelines on what you and your dog should be able to do, then you get assessed. This is if you already have a greyhound. -
I've got 4 dogs with medibank private, pretty happy with them

Just A Heads Up. They're Back! It's Snake Season Again
Rebanne replied to LizT's topic in General Dog Discussion
out of order, that is not what was said -
what about the entire dogs who escape because of accidents like a fence down because a tree fell on it, or a tradie who was careless with a gate/s etc? Why should those owners be penalised? Not all people who keep their pets entire are irresponsible, nor would all entire pets be in the above catergories. Why should a tradie not be held accountable for something that is a result of his/her carelessness? Being careless is irresponsible isn't it? Just my 2 cents. =) didn't say they shouldn't be but it doesn't mean the owner would get their dog back still entire

acutally I think this has the potenial to be very cruel, done right it can work, but done wrong - yikes!
-
there is nothing wrong with registered breeders advertising on gum tree or the trading post etc. Who cares where the buyers come from as long as the seller vets them properly.
-
actually huskies4life88 I find your statement under your name quite offensive considering this is a purebred forum etc and it has been shown time and time again just how few reg. purebred dogs end up in pounds. There is nothing wrong with buying a purebred dog off an ethical breeder, why should people be made to feel guilty because they want a dog who is fairly predicatable in size, looks, temperament etc and don't want to take the gamble with a mutt who could be anything?
-
Quite happy to kill any spider that comes into my house, will also kill any sharks etc that come into my house
-
Not to forget cats, I have a cattery attached to the house, I don't like my cats to roam the streets and bother the neighbours, not to mention the native birds etc, but it seems, to protect them from snakes they will need to be free roaming from now on. Not bloody likely! Luckily my house and yard is fairly safe from snakes but I wouldn't hesitate to kill one in my yard if I saw it.
-
so shock the dog to try to teach it to leave the snake alone, good luck finding enough snakes to put near your dog to teach it that lesson, and then leave your dogs free to roam so they can avoid the snakes. Good thinking there.
-
What exactly are you going to do with the snake when it's about to bite your dog, leave it to it???? Poor dog, sorry you have to suffer cause your owner won't protect you.
-
I wouldn't be publishing anything. Seems to me you need to talk to a lawyer.
-
so it's not a photograph of a dog, it a photograph of an xray? And it was sent to you openly and above board? Did the person sending it know you wanted to share it with others? eta missing word

greyhound breeders won't be happy about that and nor should they. I wouldn't be happy about that.
