  1. I was going to suggest meningitis too. My boy was flat, had a high temp and neck pain. Cortisone fixed him up quick smart (he had steroid responsive meningitis as opposed to the other kind)
  2. I've got 2 litter sisters that are our rising stars for 2013 Blakngold Harley Even Trying - Evie and Blakngold Harley Inconspicuous - Spix They're not quite 6 months old in these pics but have only had a practise show each so far. Hoping for some fun with them in 2013 :)
  3. Could I buy this if it's still available please?
  4. These are quite good if you've got someone giving you a hand to put them together http://www.dogmaster.com.au/shop/item/dogmaster-dog-enclosure---large-rectangular-kennel-run
  5. A Pembroke Corgi might be a good option too - a working breed with energy for walks and jogging, but in a smaller package :)
  6. Not vestibular syndrome? http://www.vetinfo.com/dencyclopedia/devestib.html
  7. I get that too! My smaller girls often get mistaken for puppies - the vet nurses couldn't believe one was 6 years old rather than 6 months old like she thought! Also makes me laugh when people comment that I mustn't show my dogs (which I do), because they don't have the slopey backs and funny back legs like the show dogs do...
  8. Can I join this thread please? We're late though - our puppies are already here! 8 puppies born on the 10th - 5 girls and 3 boys (plus 3 that didn't make it)
  9. I've got a lightweight Sporthund vest looking for a home if anyone is interested. Its a size medium and the one in this link http://www.sporthund.de/index.php?page=product&info=2979 Have only tried it on, its brand new - I would prefer a bit more room to move and my diet isn't working quickly enough
  10. I witnessed a whole litter of about 8 young, maybe 12-18 months old greyhounds being dropped of to be PTS a couple of weeks ago at the vets. One by one they were led in by their collars, tattoos checked against their paperwork, then taken out the back and their collar placed on the bench. There was a whole pile of collars by the time I was leaving
  11. Bite Me, it was $10 plus postage - if you PM me your address, I'll get a postage quote for you tomorrow
  12. When I bought mine it says medium or large and I added a note that I would like a large - but I know its luck of the draw with such things. Would anyone like to buy a medium, brand new in packet?
  13. Catch of the day had the underdog beanbag beds on sale recently. Did anyone get a large size beanbag bed but wanted a medium? I was sent a medium and it's not going to be big enough for my gsds It's the dog print pattern if anyone wants to swap?
  14. I use these, they're excellent :) http://www.conni.com.au/shop/Conni+Critters+Pet+Pads+-+washable+waterproof+absorbent/-2.html
  15. My bitch reacted in a similar way after a caesar - the vet said it was to do with the material used to stitch her and they took the stitches out early
  16. Some new photos of our pups purple girl pink girl (long coat) orange boy (long coat) maroon boy green girl silver boy
  17. Sure! They're only 2 weeks old though so it'll have to wait a couple of weeks It was funny watching a couple of my dogs trying to decide which toy to chose after I set it all up on the couch for a pic
  18. My stuff came yesterday - its so easy to justify loads of toys when you have a litter of puppies
  19. I can't see GSD in him at all, not even a little bit Wrong colour, wrong shape, wrong size He's very cute though
  20. Our puppies arrived last night, best Christmas present ever She had 3 boys and 3 girls
  21. Has she been tested for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI)?
  22. Chili - get her CD title and train for Open, if that goes well, perhaps try some trials. I'm not sure if my nerves will stand up to doing out of sight stays with her! Achieved her Novice title as I'd hoped, including a couple of Excellent gradings at a GSD club trial She's well on the way to trialling in Open next year too - yay! Monza - train him in drive and work towards trialling. Would like to have his CCD and be getting ready for novice in 2011 Bit of a delay starting Monza this year, due to my own motivation - but since the 2nd half of the year his training has been coming along in leaps and bounds. We did a couple of CCD trials but haven't cracked a pass yet - my fault though for rushing his training. Next year I'm sure he will be competing at a high standard. Termi - continue with clicker training and teach her the exercises relating to trialling, with the ambition to trial in 2012 Nope ET titles for Yoshi, Termi and Xilla Nope - though I did do the ET with Chili, and she passed :)Yoshi and Termi were held up with litter plans, and silly me, Xilla wasn't old enough until AFTER the ETs for 2011 were run!
  23. Bull Terrier? http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/community/bull-terrier.asp
