I feel Lincoln had recovered enough to start show training so I can do it Tuesday if you like? I got the cutest head shot of Lincoln this morning, I will have to upload so you can see his handsome face! The Perth Royal will be Lincoln's second Royal as I am doing Adelaide with his breeder :cool: (we are meeting halfway between our houses)

Do you happen to know the date, ness? I can't seem to find it on the show website. If it's at the end I will be able come watch cause Lincolns on the Friday!

I wouldn't because my dogs can't do obidience yet :cool: but I am debating with Tobys royal entry for agility cause he can be a stress head. Lincoln I wouldn't hesitate because of growing up as a show puppy and his natural temprament mean he is pretty laid back as long as I took a Kong or something for the down time.

I will probably not be there very long but I am so excited to meet Lincolns other family (dog and human) face to face and be on the Adelaide Royal! How do all the travellers in here find is the best airline to travel interstate with dogs?

To the SA DOLers me and Lincoln will be on Adelaide on the weekend of September 10 :cool: So will his papa and two of his sisters.

Happy Birthday Mirawee! I emailed the tracking club last night and will be going to watch for a bit before my riding lesson and be able to buy a harness (but thanks for the offer WZ). ST we should do some tracks Are you doing the Royal? Want to bench togther? RS I haven't given up retrieving but I have put it on hold because it seems so hard and obidience, tracking and of course his showing stuff are enough for now. Happy birthday Mirawee!!!

They might have the car harness but not sure if they would sell the tracking ones. If I can't find one I have a horse halter I can make do with.

I know everyone is going to think I am an idiot but Lincoln loves tracking smells on the ground and I figure instead of telling him off I will do some training with it so he knows it's appropiate in certain times andnot others. Anyway the point of that is anyone know a place I can buy a tracking harness in Perth without having to order online?

Not many places do trail rides anymore and none I can think of that are insured.

Gail is a good instructor so you should have fun :D I now need to take a yearling down to Oakford on Saturday around the middle of the day so it would depend on when your lesson is Silly girl was meant to go tomorrow but has a swollen knee today so will give her a couple of days to recover (and if it still isn't ok a different yearling will go to "boot camp") My lesson is at 11 so times will clash! I will hopefully be having more lessons with Gail so I will try to make a visit. Hope her knee is feeling better soon! :D Boot camp! Do your guys go to the Watkins? The lesson is with Gail Simms of Zia Park. I am such a bad rider I really need the lessons! Would love to come visit after my lesson Mirawee if your sure it's ok. I am thinking of booking the boys in once a week to give mum some respite now I am working fulltime.

Yay Gidgegannup, my old hunting ground and where I grew up! Well not far away in Mt helena! lovely spot the hills j Gidge is so nice and rural. Not a big fan of cities/suburbia.

I did not realize that you had horses Hannah! Love them, they are so beautiful. I don't own any atm. Hoping that will be changed. I have a lesson Saturday and I am visiting a friend at pony club to look at a mare Sunday. I used to share two big boofhead boys with a friend.

I am out in Gidgegannup for horse related activities this weekend and down to Manjimup for more of the same Sunday so no retrieving trial for me this weekend. I would love to watch but I think Lincoln is ruined for retrieving because I have let him play tug with Toby

I have pet insurance because Toby broke his leg at 9 weeks and it cost us a fortune! So when I got Lincoln they were both insured and this recently saved us $1000's when Lincoln needed emergency surgery!
