  1. I got Toby a horsie rug in minature otherwise I know that my dad/brother will remove it so he dosen't look 'girly' (sigh!). It was only $40 from BP&G Midland and it covers his belly. It's navy blue with fluro green edging and fleece inside.
  2. Toby looks so smug and warm! He has such short hair, I can totally understand how he feels! I got Toby 50cms. But he is a bit smaller the Banjo I think.
  3. I brought Toby a little WeatherBeeta Jacket today When I put him in it he thinks he can't move
  4. I just came back from the vets with Lilly and there was a pug there that was nearly bald and covered in large sores, the vet was telling them about how to treat fleas. Surely any normal human wouldn't let a dog get that bad before trying some kind of flea treatment?
  5. Today this happened to Lincoln! After quickly referencing DOL I used warm water and sugar and it worked a treat. It was very scary though as it was turning blotchy and a very dark colour, like the circulation was being cut off and the little guy was whimpering.
  6. One day I want to have a bit of a retriever collection. :D So when's your first Lab coming along? I count Bronson as my first lab . And I have basically already had a Goldie too. I would love to get a Lab one day but I would have to be really happy with the lines/type ect. (Sorry OP for going OT so much!) Also for the OP a friend of mine has two mini poodles that do agility that are really smart little dogs!
  7. Ness I just had a look at this one and the 7th is a public holiday too and there is an obedience trial at K9, so a DH obed trial Saturday, a DH agility trial Sunday, then another obed trial Monday Hmm maybe RS will get to start her agility handling earlier then she thought.
  8. One day I want to have a bit of a retriever collection.
  9. http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/breeders/harrier.asp http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/community/foxhound.asp Still think you should go for a retriever though (but I am biased :D )
  10. Not something I have any interest in. Can't wait till the Rally Seminar! What did they expect the dog to know before then again?
  11. 10 minute drive for me . I think its about 15 or 20 for me but I am not exactly where sure where the Midland club train so if someone could post street names that would be awesome Its at Jackmann (?) Oval, opposite Midland brick.
  12. Plus the 1,000 points. If he dosen't already have them he is well on his way there.
  13. Pffffft who'd go an Aussie if you could have a beagle???? Why either when you could have another retriever!
  14. Thanks RS. Are you doing Midland Obidience Trial? If so I will come and watch because its nice and close to home. When is that one Valley, I would also like to watch. Saturday June 5th, it has an AM and PM trial. Thanks I would love to go watch, will see if I can pop over after tracking that day. It's so close for us Eastern suburbs people!
  15. I would have a Toller in a heartbeat if I wanted a smaller, lighter dog. But I personally couldn't go any smaller then that.
  16. Lincoln's sire has 3 BIG's in Australia, how exciting he might have already qualified for Gr. Ch
  17. Lincoln cost $220 from Vic to Perth including crate hire.
  18. Irish Water Spaniels are known to be a good dog for people with allergies. Probably Curly Coated Retrievers too but it would probably be best if the allergic person met one. Just checked Curlies aren't.
  19. Yeah I think the lady is wrong, I checked with the ANKC rules and it was 4 BIG's
  20. It's my little boys last show as a baby this weekend!
  21. Are Irish Water Spaniels hypollergenic? And Curly Coated Retrievers?
  22. Maybe thats why Toby hasn't quallied yet.
  23. What clubs are these? ie. are they going to be at K9? Nope agility is at Lumen Christi and obidience is at Carine.
