Hi Hunterhound She should be eligable for class 1A Baby Puppy Class where dogs 3-6 months compete for 'Baby of Breed' then 'Baby of Group' (if they get Baby of Breed). -
Anyone Thinking Of Buying A Houndbag?
RallyValley replied to 4 Paws's topic in General Dog Discussion
It could be from someone who is overstocked. Also notice it's only the 'old' colours, maybe they need to make room to stock new ones.. who knows? -
I read through the propsed rules the other day and it sounds very exciting and very much like something I could get into. I just don't understand one thing about the stations, is it like the whole group doing the one station or individually and are they spread apart or does the steward just hold up a dfferent sign?

I personally got a male first because I didn't want to have to deal with seasons . Plus you are more likely to get a better male then a bitch because the breeder is more likely to keep the best bitch.

I didn't have to pay any extra postage. -
Even though be barks in his crate when I leave him at training I will be bringinghim most weeks for socialisation and so he will be used to being crated. Plus I think its good for lots of strangers to come and pet him.

Where Do You Get Your Clicker From?
RallyValley replied to Rainy's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I lost my pretty blue iclick and have my ugly box clicker. But since I am assuming at some stage puppy will get his teeth on it probably better that way. -

Agility Nationals Perth 2010
RallyValley replied to RallyValley's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
We have a large property about 35 mins drive from K9 that people could park in campervans and stay if needed. But the dogs would have to be sheep friendly -
I have a suzuki ignis and with the back seats down flat it fits two crates but is not a big car for petrol/parking. One tank ($40) lasts me close to 2 weeks.

I am on the lookout for a food storage bin. Got one with Eukanuba last year that was great, now I just need another one.
-
No I mean that for Rally O course times are like 1 and a half hours, 1 hour 50 mins ect. It's in the example scorecard on the DogsWest Rally O information.

Jen I was thinking along the same lines. I don't really have much in way of cabana's/chairs but I will be able to help out by cheering DOLers on and watching peoples dogs for them maybe if I'm not stewarding. I may also be able to bring down some homecooked food. Can't think anything else. -
The extra 5 mins is for: Load the dog, unload the dog that jumped in that wasn't supposed to and lock him inside. Then open the front gate, the run the other dog back up to house that followed me. That sort of stuff.

When I show I am looking forward to Bunbury (2 and a half hours) shows because it gives me an excuse to get up there and see the family, plus I have multiple choices of free accomodation. I actually have a cousin in Geraldton too so I am all good for country shows I am about 40 mins from K9 here so not too bad.

I PMed, maybe I should follow up. Rally O sounds complex.. I can't believe a trial goes for like 2 hours
-
No I did email about it. But I will go and search Yahoo Groups now for it.

When I was about 10 years old 2 of my friends with Labs, Lilly (my cross) and I had walked to my mum's friends hose to deliever something on the doorstep. As we turned around thier neighbours Sibe was standing at the open gateway of the house snarling at us, well lab 1 hid behind lab 2 who hid behind Lilly who turned around and snarled at this dog who backed down and ran away. I know it's not a people story but it was out of character and pretty brave of her, especially when the other dogs and us children were so scared. She also does this strange bark reserved only for when she sights a snake. Don't know what we will do when she goes.

At agility class we are all getting revved up for nationals, with most our club either competing or volunteering (I will be doing the latter ). I was just wondering if many interstate DOLers are coming? And many WA ones?

Anyone know anything about the ANKC Rule Review Conference - March 2010? It has the Rally-O rules in the outline..

I am very lucky Lincoln is a private humper . He will drag toys into his crate and have his way with them.
-
Me and Lincoln were at Midland Better Pets and Gardens Yesterday! It was around 11ish and the power was out. What a shame we missed each other.
-
Amypie if you are down at the canine centre tonight ypu should walk up to the undercover pavillion and come say hi to Lincoln .
-
Delias, your welcome to come, I think Lincoln would benefit from having someone who knows what they are doing help out!
