  1. I can just imagine all the Tollers expressions when they see all the iSqueaks
  2. My breeder informed me that in Vic the registration number is not necessary for Baby Puppy class so possibly.
  3. You must put an option of 'not applicable' so people can choose from one lot or the other. Thats fine Corrie. Voted now.
  4. I would definately prefer Westminster as the USA is the country of origin for my breed and where all the best dogs are. But I would prefer the Chesapeake Specialty to either.
  5. I didn't know Gundogs are Saturday, that makes it even more exciting (sorry other groups ) I hope Ari is feeling better, it will be really good to see her again.
  6. It is very likely me an Lincoln will be there Saturday evening for his first show expirience (not that he is showing ) Is it Charlie on Sat ST?
  7. Toby loved the water until he got dumped at the beach and now he is wary of it. Lincoln LOVES the water but hasn't been to a beach/river/lake yet. He will try to sit in his water bowl and loves having 'showers'
  8. That sounds good Sandra. My brother is getting a stafford bitch mid year and I think it would be fun to do neuter classes with her, but the chances of a breeder letting a stafford bitch go on open register to a relatively new dog owner aren't very likely.
  9. I think this is a good idea, I am pretty sure my friends dog is eligable for this class (he was destined to be a show dog, but one never descended), he is 9 now but would still love it .
  10. 3x medium please. OT but I saw you and your Tollers on Monday night but you looked so busy training I didn't want to interrupt and say hi. I had Lincoln with me, just to let you know I wasn't being rude.
  11. I made the mistake of taking Lincoln to show class before he was properly prepared and he freaked out from all the noise/dogs/being in the weired acoustics of the undercover area. So now I am slowly building up to take him again. I think taking Willow before she is actually expected to do anything, other then be there is a good idea. I'm not against taking a pup there to acclimatise it, just it's safer when fully vaccinated. You don't know the vaccination status of the other dogs there, plus she wouldn't be allowed to interact with the dogs. For me it would just be too much of a risk, I see the after effects of parvo in my boy and it's just not worth it IMO. Lincoln had had two vaccinations when I took him, forgot to make that clear, my point was the first time you take her maybe just let her watch.
  12. If all dogs are required to be muzzled in public how will we show our dogs, compete in dog sports ect.. I know it is upsetting for the guy but what an idiot for such a blanket statement. The ACDxKelpie was most likely trying to herd the bike and got excited, what a shame it turned out the way it did. Toby will herd most moving objects but fortunately does not have that nip instinct that heelers use when herding.

  14. Terrier Group goes to Scottie,Smooth Fox terrier wins Group 2, Group 3 is won by the Norwich & Airedale takes Group 4. Will update to full results soon
  15. My older girl has the brows and used to be walked in a halti, so she was the 'vicious dog' in the "muzzle". Plus I was a child when I was walking her so people would never mind what they said to me. I was a bit of a mouth back then though so the comments never went unanswered

  19. The Sporting Group is won by the Brittany,Group 2 goes to the Irish Water Spaniel, Group 3 is won by the Gordon Setter & Lab wins Group 4
  20. Me and both brown boys wil be there b.b. I am thinking of getting there a little early because I have to set up crates and two dogs. Plus to chat Its Duke's turn at training this week so that should be exciting.
  21. Thats a relief! I got the bike out and gave it a service just then Now I just need to find a place to train and my dog to not be scared of bikes.
  22. I started training tonight... Toby is terrified of bikes so I was just socialising him with the bike. But I would be interested in doing it for sure but would need LOTS of training for me to get fit. It's not on the road though is it? (I hate cyclists on the road)
  23. Yes Lincoln was at K9 last night and I met a few DOLers. Ruby Star I realised who you were once I saw the second lab. Lincoln was very calm and lots of people said hi to him and gave him pats which he loved. I saw you and Trixie Amypie but you were in class so I didn't want to interrupt.
  24. Chessie's come n 8 colours, from dark brown to ash (like a weimeraner). This is an image of all possible colours- http://www.amchessieclub.org/standard/colors.html
