We had another boy 5 hours after we thought she was done  So it's now 2 girls 4 boys My little fuchsia girl is worryingly small. Have been topping her up though. I get the feeling she's a fighter. I have pics of all the pups, but don't want to overload this thread. Here is a link to the gallery of images http://flic.kr/s/aHsjGN3LPd

We had 5 pups in about 2 and a half hours this afternoon, starting at 4.23pm We have three boys and two girls. The firstborn pup was a girl and is about half the size of the other pups but she's suckling and seems ok. Fingers crossed for her. They are pretty content pups and despite being a bit shocked at first Zora has really taken to being a mum.

Looks like Ptolomy is a puppy seer - good luck with your 7 Oso
-
Oso I think you have 8 - 6 girls and 2 boys. :)

I should do something similar Oso. Any guesses WA peeps? They saw 5 on the scan. Looking for number/gender splits

Waiting For A Puppy This Thread Is For You
RallyValley replied to jess live die's topic in Puppy Chat
Boxbright if you are waiting for a show dog patience is everything. To be honest I would look on DOL show dog profiles and find the kind of Boxer you like, find out who bred those dog/lines and approach them. Boxers are a competitive breed, showing a dog that is not 'show quality' will tire quickly... -
Puppies can now be felt moving! Also in single digits here OSO

I used an unshown dog over my bitch, he had proven his merit in the field however and I assessed his conformation and asked my breed mentors to as well. So your dog doesn't like to show, what else can you do to prove his merit? If nothing why would someone use your dog over thier bitch as opposed to another one that is titled in a discipline. It might pay to join DOL and create a profile for him. Also contact his breeder and update them with his health results, he might fit into thier program.

I'm with you guys in waiting for my puppy.. only the problem is the breeder is me So it makes the wait even harder!! I have lots of excited puppy families too and reading this thread always makes me smile :) -
I've been through the rest of my shots, only three more I am really happy with. (Taken with a 60mm Macro Lens - thanks CC!) You can't see it in this pic but this bird had a mullet!! [

Me too! Tips would be patience and luck ;) Luck that the animals are doing something interesting or patience to wait till they do!! I was shooting with a 7D and a 70-300mm Tamron lens except a couple of shots with CC's 60mm Macro (the snake included). The body is a crop body so increases magnification a little more. I was usually at 300mm or not far off. I think we said that about 100 times when we were watching them  I'm itching to get mine sorted, but probably won't be until the weekend...... So looking forward to seeing your shots CC!

Feeling the same Oso!! Plus because its fallen during school holidays I have to work right up to the due date I will have people with Zora 24/7 from a few days before but I'm still a bit worried.

Well done Tollers Owned, Tassie and Xena98!! Great achievements. :D My little brag is that Zora passed her track 2 on Saturday. She has to have a little break now though as she's due to give birth in less then two weeks...

In Febuary 2011 some DOLers went to the zoo to take pictures (see original thread here). Today CC and I went back to the zoo to see if we had improved any. :) I have only had a chance to develop some pics but here are my favs so far: Edit:Changed the title so it looks like II not Ii

So sorry to read about Raiden Lhok. Can't imagine how devastating this must be for your family.

Look at Liberty grooming tables. They are pretty great, well built and strong (I only have the medium one and it holds me and the dog  )

Yay Nevafollo!! :)
