  1. Geez they look so happy! :D Frida looks like a great little surfer! They seem to be living 'the good life' now!
  2. Try getting one of those plastic strip or corded doorway curtains. It does help to keep the flies out but I'm sure one or two will get in anyway.
  3. Just came across this page and remembered this thread. Don't know if it's what you want! Dog Ornaments
  4. A lot of these people have their own websites too. https://www.facebook.com/IggyCollars https://www.facebook...etstash?fref=ts https://www.facebook.com/CappisJammies https://www.facebook...93630?ref=br_tf There's a few for starters lol ETA This one too https://www.facebook.com/shakadoghawaii It's one of my favourites and supports iggy rescue in US
  5. I've bought a few from here, some of them have been less than $10 (iggy size) and postage from o/s was still less than $10 too. https://www.facebook...etFashionCanine
  6. I've just checked my thermometers and outside it is 45.2 degrees, it's 33.5 in my bedroom [only got a fan running in there] and 27.5 in my kitchen/tv room [where the air con and a fan are running]. Going outside for dogs potty breaks is like walking into a furnace. Hope you are all coping with this heat, take care everyone.
  7. Most watermelon are seedless these days anyway!
  8. Shame you're not in Vic, westiemum, otherwise you could come and stay at my place!
  9. Bugger the water bill, I'm leaving the sprinkler on under a tree for the birds around here. Lots of them having a bath yesterday!!
  10. Congrats to you!! I hope you get your first choice of prefix!! Fingers crossed...
  11. Don't think so, my dogs absolutely love watermelon but don't bother with the skin, obviously it isn't as yummy as the pink flesh. But, kirislin regularly gives her whippets watermelon skin and they love it, and with no problems either. I'm sure she'll comment here as well. As with most things though, give in moderation.
  12. He is a very cute little scruffer! Congrats! :)
  13. 3/52 Early morning view from my back verandah ">
  14. 2/52 Peanut doing bunny patrol ">
  15. What a great photo, they look so contented lol! Good luck with your new rescue group, it's exciting to imagine what the next doggie will be that needs care.
  16. I often think about you and Buddy, I hope the pain of his loss is beginning to ease a little.
  17. Quick update. Buffy is doing really well, better than I expected or hoped for. She had all her stitches out last Friday so the cone of shame has now been removed and she is like a new little dog. She is finding her way around so well. I can try to hide from her, either inside or outside, and she always finds me. Obviously her other senses are taking over and doing a great job. Yesterday morning she even wanted to have a little play, which was a first for her. The vet has estimated her age at around 8yo. She is fully toilet trained and can hang on all night whilst in her crate. She didn't like the crate much to begin with but last night she was quiet as a mouse, so I guess she is getting used to it now or it may be easier for her without the cone. She has learnt to go up and down my back stairs by herself really well. I just stand in front of the steps and tap the step and say 'down' and she knows to step down, she is such a smart little dog. She will sit on command, loves cuddles without being a pest, and is so little trouble I can't believe it. She will be getting a bath and grooming session in the next few days which will remove the last of the dried blood currently on her face. Here is a pic of her today! ">
  18. So sorry for your neighbours, poor Rosie....
