  10. Thankyou Juice. Just away to head to the homebush clinic now. Just like you said, I'm just not sure if it is an ear infection with the lack of smell. I tried to wipe it a little just now but it's obviously painfull, deffinatly not a laceration and deffinatly coming from somewhere deep in the canal. I'll post back when I know. Thanks for the offer juice, much appreciated
  11. ed to add link Thankyou! Just called them, away to go there now
  12. Hey guys, I've called 10 different vets and every one is closed until atleast tomorrow morning. I think Indie has an ear infection, it looks to be a bloody/brown discharge coming from deep inside his ear (down his neck fur too though). He keeps shaking his head but there is no smell atall coming from it, just the slight smell of blood. He has never had a dirty or waxy ear before. It just suddenly came on just now. I'm sitting in the car with him but having absolutly no luck finding a vet open today. Is there anything I can do to make him more comfortable untill tomorrow morning? Or, do you know of any vets open near Liverpool today (I have tried calling alot of the ones Google came up with). I might have some dog antibiotics at home but I'm not certain, can I give him those if I do? Is there anything I could get from the chemist? What about rescue remedy (deffinatly have that at home)? Thanks guys ETA-on the way to homebush vet clinic now
  13. Check the tide timetable before you go as you will find quite a few horses down there early in the morning when it's low tide.
  14. Rest easy over the Rainbow Bridge sweet Prince , Bonnie will be waiting for you to come and play now you are pain free. You were such a warrior Mack and will never be forgotten, not ever! Missing your antics from Cathy already big boy. Huge hugs Cathy, to you and all of your tribe. What you did for Mack, all the love, care and happy times you gave him, you are an Angel. Thinking of you beautiful lady, Julzx
  15. Ill be there with Indie and Mala. Doubt I'll take Astrid as she likes to bark at people she doesn't know.
  16. All 3 are rescues- Siberian Husky, Dane/Mastiff/Amstaff and a Terrier bitsa (on the bigger size of a Chi but has a short wirey coat like a Cairn, mixed with JRT personality lol). Desperatly missing my Amstaff Bonnie that passed away in April, but Mala's bull breed mix has started making the house feel like "home" again.
  17. Congrats on your new Aussie I have a small Terrier girl along with a Siberian Husky male and a Dane/Mastiff/Amstaff girl. The two girls are absolutely inseparable, they really are joint at the hip and you will always find them snuggled up together. They are such an odd pair . As for exercise, I walk them all together and I find that Astrid my Terrier has ALOT more energy than my big dogs. Even my Sibe Indie tires out before Astrid. The only thing I find with the size difference is that Astrid makes good use of our pool fencing. She knows there is a big difference in size so she always crawls under the pool fencing to do her zoomies so the big dogs dont accidently hurt her. She zooms right against the fence so the big dogs can do zoomies with her but cant touch her, smart little cookie . Apart from that, Astrid still plays tug and wrestles with Mala at every opportunity, they are such a great match despite their size difference.
  18. Huge hugs to you both and massive amounts of healing vibes being sent to Mindy, get better soon sweetheart
  19. Fingers crossed him and my thoughts are with you and his owner. Poor boy. On a side note-That vet needs to be educated, he is so wrong! That is what happened to Bonnie, she was only 23-24kg, can not belive he came out with that nonsense.
  20. Fantastic news!!!! So glad they have been reunited! Whoo hoo!
