  1. Oh noooo dwynwen, what a pain! Do you have any upgrade rights? Thanks redangel, some interesting new features there :D New Features in Lightroom 4 Beta •Highlight and shadow recovery brings out all the detail that your camera captures in dark shadows and bright highlights. •Photo book creation with easy-to-use elegant templates. •Location-based organization lets you find and group images by location, assign locations to images, and display data from GPS-enabled cameras. •White balance brush to refine and adjust white balance in specific areas of your images. •Additional local editing controls let you adjust noise reduction and remove moiré in targeted areas of your images. •Extended video support for organizing, viewing, and making adjustments and edits to video clips. •Easy video publishing lets you edit and share video clips on Facebook and Flickr®. •Soft proofing to preview how an image will look when printed with color-managed printers. •Email directly from Lightroom using the email account of your choice.

  3. Thanks guys :D It would be awesome to see your guys at the beach, a bit far for you to travel though
  4. I sooooo wish either of mine showed even the slightest interest in balls or toys, deprived puppy-hoods mean they never really learnt to play Being grumpy and unsociable is far more fun
  5. Thanks Amy but strangely he is better with more dogs in close proximity. If it's mainly empty he really focuses on the odd dog that may be around, and will leg it up to them to check they aren't going to kill him
  6. Welcome - Hawkesdale :D It was just as lovely down there today, apart from the woma who told Louis to p*ss off in no uncertain terms when he went near her dog, perhaps she thought he had some horrible skin disease  However it's much better if I go down with a bunch of you - on his own with just Daisy he is more focused on other dogs and rushes up to them, he recall goes out the window when his anxiety kick in I can't have him on the lead there as he is 100x worse on the lead when dogs are running around, but I can't have him running up to dogs as that's exactly what I wouldn't want other dogs doing to him So I may just go down when there are perth meets there and he can stick with a 'pack' :)
  7. Tamagotchis were waaaaay after my school days. we had fluffy trolls in my time  just heading down to kwinana now :D

  16. Oh sorry to hear this Clyde hope he is found safe and well very soon
  17. Very cute :D The UK and I assume NZ ones look like this My Cocker would often retrieve them for me in Scotalnd  So I would have to get some oven mitts, get him to release it and pop it back into the field the other side of our garden He never caught any nasties.
  18. 600km! We've lived with it in the UK only 34km away in France for years and not been inundated with it yet Animals are not routinely vaccinated against rabies in the UK either, only if they are travelling. Not wishing to make light of it though as it is a scary disease! I remember a tv film as a kid about a rabid fox getting into the UK and the spread of rabies, it scared the bejesus out of me, it was in the same vien as the nuclear bomb films
  19. Nice to see your photos Augustine The aim of this thread is to take a photo each week during 2012 and post up here.....a good way to get some of us to actually get our cameras out and take at least one photo every week Love seeing the greys run annie and the muscles really show :D
  20. I was planning on spending Aussie day in bed after last year - 45 mutant mozzie bites watching the fireworks and coming home to find Daisy had OD'd on chocolate A trip to the beach *should* be safe enough though..... Will have to see how my office move goes the weekend before.
  21. Oh Ptolomy I was using my Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM today - I really like that lens :D
  22. Wow, more stunning self portraits Keep shooting and you'll soon get there Try photographing something static, like a label on a bottle and see how the focus is. That's lovely dwynwen, I love all the moss and the textures 2/52 - Louis at the Beach, a B&W version attempt of a colour one posted in another thread. Louis at Kwinana by HairlessHounds, on Flickr

  24. Great action shots RV I love that you captured Daisy in the water and an action shot of her (in the flying Pippa one) Swimming and action don't come naturally to Daisy lol, he only swims when picked up and put in the water Will we see you there next time ;) No that's his Scottish polo shirt but I did buy him a Aussie surf life saving robe yesterday :D
