It refers to turning it on and doesn't meantion having to hug it to do that. Does have an automatic switch off though.

I know there is the snuggle and used that many years ago with my dog, however I came across this interesting human product today... http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/gear/a941/#tabs Do you reckon it would do similar for pups? Obvsiously they can't hold it like a human, if it were just in their crate etc. Pretty big though eh?

Manipulating Arousal In Behaviour Modification
sas replied to corvus's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
What if you have one of each Although I agree that owners influence the behaviour of the dogs, it's not the beeeeee all of it, natural personalities and temperaments come into place as well a bunch of other variables. -

Love to Just haven't been told anything else yet. -
Our club has been contacted to see we can source a Dane who can bark on command, they also mentioned they are looking for a small dog with good basic obedience that can run around a house. If you have either, can you please e-mail me at [email protected] with photos and a description of what your dog can do. I'm affraid those are the only details that have been passed onto me by the club, I'll see what more I can find out. Edited: Anything from a Lab size upwards for barking on command.

Rescue Dog Aggression Problems With Dogs
sas replied to breezy's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
As you're in the 2 week trial period I would return the dog to the rescue. I have a dog aggressive dog and it's not a fun thing to have, you're forever on your toes - ditto to what Kavik said. My personal opinon is that dog aggressive dogs that come through rescue shouldn't be re-homed, they should either recieve appropriate behaviour modification with the rescue or put to sleep as aggressive dogs aren't cured, they are managed and not everyone has the skills to manage an aggressive dog nor wants to. -
Dry Food That Does Not Contain Wheat, Corn Or Soy?
sas replied to Erny's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
With the higher levels of fat in the blood, is that relative to the fat % in his food or it's abnormal and something like Thrive D might be able to assist with digestion? Mandela likes to keep you on your toes. If you could afford it, would it be worth sending bloods to Jean Dodds again? -
How To Remove Staining On White Dogs
sas replied to hottopic01's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Weird enough my boy was a shocker on BARF with the staining, it's starting to reduce since he's been ont hat Black Hawk kibble so it makes me wonder what it is 'for him' that sparks it. -

Sounds like a trust thing. If you're struggling to get things going again you might like to ask a Behaviourist to come and have a look at the situation and see what they think about solutions.

Lovely story.

Dog Walking Machine Vs Human Treadmill
sas replied to Heidii's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Nope, not for Danes, we've even been to a treadmill store and tested them, wether they are wide but short in length or the opposite problem. -
Sorry, I don't mean to target your posts in this thread, but that doesn't look safe nor something that would actually work with a working dog puppy?
-
That just looks like a pile of rubbish wood that looks a bit dangerous for a puppy?

Rivet the Mesh.

We use Fly Traps, they work for us, as do regular pick ups.
-
no definately our daughter Sorry to hear that, you really only have a couple of options, one of those is to work with a qualified Behaviourist. Good Luck, I hope there is a positive outcome for all concerned.

I don't think you're meant to say anything. If you're not free shaping, lure the dog onto it and click.

Dog wasn't snapping at something else like....a fly? Was definately at the child?
