  1. What a cutie! Looks lovely natured :)
  2. Griffs I have learned are baby mountain goats and the backrest of the couch is a comfy spot to sleep.
  3. I wouldn't get a small dog as an outdoor dog ever. How much time would you be spending with the dog then?
  4. If the dog is going to be a indoor dog and you want a Velcro dog then a smooth coat griffon bruxellois may suit, very good with other animals as well, doesn't usually have the problems other brachycephalic breeds have and cute to boot :)
  5. My sister own's a chi, fantastic little dog, loves babies and kids and personality plus! She got her though from a puppy shop before they knew better. She is on the left lol, I have been asked more times then I can count if my griff is a chi lol.
  6. How cute! He looks totally focused on you too, looks like a pleaser.
  7. This! Just because the anti biotics didn't work it doesn't mean they need a new vet. Most vets will try the lesser approach before jumping into tests and biopsy's.
  8. I feed mine the venison as well as the green tripe one with a raw diet. She loves it and it doesn't give her the runs like ziwipeak sometimes did.
  9. Sight hound x wolf with their ears cropped.
  10. That's terrible Donatella! I just don't trust anyone, you hear the stories like that dog being stolen from a house at the gold coast which was caught on CCTV, and that thread of the Douge pup stolen from a vet clinic awhile back and so many more. I just wouldn't chance it.
  11. I would worry about theft, especially for such a young tiny unique looking breed, it may not happen often but it does happen. Mine is indoors 100% when we are not home and she has access to lots of natural light but I was told by the vet to restrict it has she was doing lots of sunbathing and the skin on her tummy was burning as she loves one of the bedrooms which gets direct sun. Bubba is such a cutie! I love seeing his updates!
  12. If mime where really dirty I would also use shampoo like plush puppy or animal house tenda care and rinse with the hose, then empty the tank and do a tank of leave in conditioner.
  13. I use fido's herbal rinse. Cotex is good too if they need something for fleas.
  14. I'd really thought that the possums and piglets were the losers. The sympathy expressed has done a big shift from the original victims to the spin-off victims. Of course the massive possible numbers of greys being affected is horrendous, but there are not "that" many people as concerned about the rabbits, guineas, cockerels and other small animals. What happens to the (?hundreds?) already in cages just awaiting being killed in terror and agony around various "facilities". Bet they won't be thoughtfully disposed of - they will be doubly ill treated as lash-out punishment by the thugs involved - let alone deprived food and water which I doubt is ever involved in their management in any case. Grumpette they are good links you have in your posts.
  15. And did the real estate actually say it was because of the media report or are they just guessing? Sounds like another person wanting a dog and being upset that the application was knocked back for it, are we now meant to blame the media for every application of a dog that gets knocked back, some landlords just don't want ANY dogs in their properties and they have a right to say no, I think its just a unfounded accusation.
  16. I know possums are a real problem in NZ but I am surprised they would be able to have commercial quantities of them.
  17. Wow I had never heard of them, did a google search and wow that coat! Lots of pics will be needed.
  18. lol Discodobe that's a real eye on the prize photo!
  19. A all to common sight in our house hold. We are planning in getting a ifetch mini ball thrower to give us a break lol.
  20. The kong tennis balls say they are non abrasive and I hope they are right as my 3kg girl is obsessed with the mini ones. Every day as soon as I get up I am harassed to play fetch lol, she even sits outside the shower of a morning with the ball in her mouth waiting for me to get out and throw it, and if I sit down to shave my legs she tries to push it through the glass at me lol.
  21. My girl is only 3kg and loves pushing it around, and it didn't take her long at all to work out that the bell means more treats. Although I do find she doesn't clear all the treats out like a normal treat ball as she cant work out if they are all gone or not, as the normal treat ball she can hear and smell when its empty.
  22. No, but I did want it larger to make it harder to miss lol. Even occasionally she will stand on it and will accidentally pee off the side. I also have 2 rubber grass mats in circulation so I pretty much pick up the mat and grate which is in two, hose, change pad on base and replace grate and the dry mat. I very rarely have to pick the base up (it's two parts with a conector so it's easy to move about). After high use for the last two years it doesn't smell unlike the fake grass one my sisters pup had, they had it less then a year and had to throw it out as no matter how much cleaning it had it smelt bad.
