We had a dog growing up but I couldn't tell you much about it, all I remember is her in her last years suffering old age.. I dont agree that just because I haven't had a dog from puppyhood ( I say that because our sandy was old when I was 11 so I have no knowledge/memory of her as a puppy.) I should not be allowed a puppy?? I have 4 children surely if they are still alive that gives me credit lol lol.. I think people that are new to the dog world need to be given a chance we are not all stupid.

I am going this week to finally get to meet our boy officially and take more pictures :-) and the final video.. He will be 7 weeks tomorrow :-) Congratulations dobesrock :-)

I would have given her a bit back also.. What happens to people just asking a simple question? why do people think it is their right to yell abuse and talk like a guttertripe... It's hard but try not to let them ruin your week, they really are not worth it.. :-) Edit grammar.

Almost as epic as my idiot cousin .. her 'friend' who was manager at a PP store sold her a 'Pure Miniature Maltese'. I saw the pup in the window it had a pale apricot splodge on the side. I said, there is no such thing as a mini maltese, in all probability this dog is a toy poodle x maltese because of the coat and a bit of apricot colouration I saw. Then the torrent of abuse started ... no, there IS such thing as a Miniature don't you know ANYTHING it's their size and it's PURE because the woman told me so OMG why would she LIE TO ME she's my friend and gave me a HUGE discount! (this was roughly at screeching level and in my face) So she only paid about $600 for this undersized runt of a thing that is still afraid of it's own shadow AND she dumped on her grandmother/mother when it wasnt even 6 months old. Her other dog was locked up until it went mad then she gave it to a BYBer to stick it up me. I'm the one who apparently needs a lecture on dogs. Sometimes you just can't fix stupid. Lead the horse to water, if it doesnt want to drink then brush your hands of it and pass them the number of a VERY good and blunt veterinarian. Sadly this is so true....

Not me dancinbcs the op is minimiss, I was just worried that I had paid in full, I diidn't even think that I may have an issue.. I'll tackle that bridge if i come to it :-) Edit I had a vague moment lol.. You have two options. Complain to the practice owner that the idiot nurse put your puppy in danger, so you want a refund OR continue with the classes and do not let them do anything with your puppy that you don't want them too. Personally I think I would be leaving and demanding a refund. Pom babies are physically quite fragile and easily broken, apart from any lasting effects that encounter could have on her confidence. To put one at that sort of risk is simply unacceptable.

I'm a little worried now as I just paid in full my puppy class, I wonder if I should have just paid part of it I case I am not happy with them...

I watched a show last night about rescue, it was very interesting. The show followed a couple of rescuers ( sp it's early lol) and also what happens when a family contacts them to adopt a dog, pretty much the whole process petrescue was mentioned in the credits ( I came in half way through :-)

I think you will have a long night I hope you can get a little sleep :-) hope she is all good in the morning aswell

What state do you guys live in? we are lucky here in Brisbane the mornings have been lovely, I have been for my walk this AM and it was actually a bit crisp :-)

Hey minimiss yes still a secret :-) although other half has slipped up twice and said little things that so far they havent picked up on lol, he gets the glare from me!! LOL We are going again I'm hoping next week for the 6 week mark and then another video :-) I would say we will know then which is ours as the pups are being immunised next week and microchiped.. The breeder chooses which one is ours which I thought I might not be that comfortable with but after seeing them I want them all lol lol... The pups go outside now and the breeder tells me they are playing with each other and having loads of fun :-) We didn't show them the video on Christmas day we are waiting till the final week prob on the Thursday as we pick him up on the saturday, Friday we will set everything up.. That way I will have them excited for only 2 days :-)
