  1. She'd be great at digging holes ... not so great at helping with the rest  except lunch time, she would excel at that
  2. Thought you might like this: Someone at work printed out the photo of Max and put it on his roster board
  3. I usually call a local vet in the area I'm going to and ask them. But yes, Jervis Bay is a tick area.
  4. You could try a tick collar, but I don't think you can wear them swimming so if you are planning on going in the water it might not work. Are you going to a tick prone area?
  5. Hair isn't digestible, and if he gets too much stuck in his tummy it could cause issues, so you might need to look at why you're dropping so much and try some things to lessen it.
  6. Just found out the pug is Boston's uncle, so not related to Max by blood, but related on a technicality lol
  7. they only have 5 breeds, obviously they don't have them all :p
  8. Haha of course. At least they have a pug, even if it is the wrong colour
  9. http://shop.auspost.com.au/collectables/stamps-issues/top-dogs?cmpid=S1-ban2-shop-phil-p9-work-dogs-130219 So cute!
  10. Kirislin, can I recommend you get your hands on some Mediherb Eye Bright? It's a herbal medicine that I give my pugs when they are having eye trouble, and it's amazing. It's a clinician only medicine, but if you order and put your vets name down it's usually fine. http://www.fourbody.com.au/mediherb-eyebright.html
  11. Pretty sure they're $600. Are they ads or sponsored stories? There is no set price, you can spend as much as you want. So you put money into your FB ad bucket, and each "view" takes money from your bucket, so once your money bucket is empty, the ads stop appearing. You can put $10 in there, or hundreds, or thousands.
  12. My Max is quite well behaved, she just likes doing it in a very messy way! We barely even bother to put them back in the toy box now, it seems doing that just encourages her to prove to us that she can spread her toys futher. As long as there is a clear path to the bathroom during the night, I don't mind
  13. My 16 month old pup/dog still enjoys tipping over her toy box and spreading her toy collection from one of the house to the other, much like a child would. So yes, get used to it :p
  14. I know small amounts of garlic can be good, especially for things like fleas, but I'd not be confident to give them onion.
  15. Same here! I just googled it and was kinda disappointed... Now if it was something like this, I might understand: or
  16. To me, the blues just look grey - I really don't get the fuss about them!
  17. I think we are, literally :p She's a Bunyong girl.
  18. Priceless isn't it    Clueless actually. Yes, you are. At least you can admit it.
  19. Boston is the quiet little man always in the background. He prefers it that way, would rather human cuddles to zoomies usually. But he is hilarious too, in his own way!
  20. This was my contribution to the discussion. Just my thoughts. Until those with opposite opinions decided I should told why I was wrong. Also my opinion. Sleeping is sedentary, nothing much happens to a sedentary creature. Activity is the catalyst for health. For pumping the blood, invigorating the lungs, for burning the calories. That's what I know. Sleep is for rest. While you are welcome to your opinion, the fact is, your opinion happens to be incorrect. Plenty happens during sleep that either does not happen or only happens very slowly when the creature is awake. Muscle repair is one of those things (which burns a lot of energy) and for a working dog, that seems a pretty vital function. Sleep is not for rest, it is for recovery. Yes I am entitled to my opinion. As are you. IMO your opiniion has no basis in fact.
  21. Would she eat sardines? My guys love their sardines (in oil), but I have pugs who are not fussy eaters and have no trouble keeping weight on  How much veggies does she get?
  22. Maybe instead of the mince you could give her chicken frames, or minced carcasses if you really need to feed it minced, but whole frames are good for eating. You also might just need to adjust your quantity and add another wing or two each day, and see How it goes.
  23. Max quite likes showing her belly, especially when she's in the middle of playing and wants a belly rub, but won't let go of the toy! She wants the best of both worlds thanks!
