I use supercoat, no problems at all. My dogs have been on and off it for years and enjoy it and do very well on it I have tired some of the 'better' dry foods, only to have dull coats, the dogs pooping all over the place or the dogs just not liking it at all

god, i would walk away once i have handed over the money, the dog is mine. While I will do everything right by the dog, i do not want the breeder looking at every little thing i do and to take the dog back if it is show quality? WTF? Hell no!

I did obedience with a Shiba, stubborn thing she was No read advice, but have you thought about building a run? Cement floor, four sides and a roof? that way you can house him safely in the yard and he cant get out?

I have one who is now 5, who will try to get away with pooping inside during winter - I have found the crate to be the best thing ever, If she starts to go to the toilet inside, she gets crated when not in my sight. That is also how i trained both of them as puppies, if i couldnt actually WATCH them with my own eyes, they were crated, they had no access to run around the house, they were in the same room as me, i could always tell when they were about to go and could get them outside. It was hard work, but it worked well for Atlas (who has only once in 6.5 years gone to the toilet in my house, and that was when he was sick and ended up at the vets for 3 days ) Kaos is pretty good, just those night time poops in winter!

Just wanted to share this... I had someone in at work today, they saw the cards for owners who have lost pets, they started to talk about the lady who was hurt trying to save her pets in Qld, that how amazing she was that she went back in for them. They were wondering what was going on and how she was. I told them what has been posted here and they also wanted to send their good wishes on to Jed and her family. All the girls at work also send on their best wishes and have told me to let them know of any updates as they come in. Cin

I would hate to have a dog scared of storms, Mine always sleep through them and fireworks - i remember years ago we had a massive storm, I was scared (takes a lot to scare me!) so i came out looking for the dogs, both fast asleep on the lounge, i had to wake them to get them to come into bed with me :rolleyes:

Hi guys, I bought a Shining Star teddy bear from work a little while ago, I just wanted the bear and not the star - They are pretty easy to use, you just log in and follow the instructions to name the star - I am happy to send it off to someone if they want to do one for Jed or her dogs that have been lost. I read a lot of her posts and admired her, but was never really close, so do not want to do this on her behalf when there are others out there who are close to her. If someone would like to do this, just let me know and PM me your address and i will get it in the mail to you today/tomorrow It isnt much, but I am broke and cant really offer anything else Cin
