Yeah I could never trust my dogs around babies ....even though they are friendly I just could never trust them.

I'm the same Hankodie .. That makes me very anxious! quite often I see photos on FB of babies grabbing dogs faces that someone has liked and I cringe :/

I paid $2800 on my young CKCS and hers was a grade 4 so the pricing can vary .... She needs her other leg done as its a grade 3 , it's causing her back problems atm so it needs to be done . A lot of Specialists won't operate on a grade 1 ... But there are preventatives you can do to slow down the severity , like no jumping up onto furniture, small walks , maybe even see a animal Physio.

Lacey had her follow up appointment this afternoon ... She is a lot better but the vet has given me some more Carprofen for over the Christmas break just in case she gets sore again, she has a grade 3 luxating patella which the vet said is causing her back pain .. We plan on getting it done after the New Year :)

My CKCS was at the vet last week for the same thing ..... She has finished the anti inflams but her next follow up isn't until Wednesday. I have had no experience with slipped discs except my own .

My two had their pre Christmas bath on Thursday ... Sasha my Kelpie did exactly the same thing but luckily there was no dirt, just grass lol.

Some of the stories are halarious :laugh: Sasha my Kelpie can clear a room in 5 seconds but she normally waits until I am in bed and everyone is settled then she lets one rip :/ Might give the charcoal biscuits a go.. They sound good.

My dogs are always hassling me for my fruit I have for breakfast! They love bananas, apples, peaches, nectarines , watermelon...I only give them a little bit though as I don't want to risk them getting a belly ache.

I would be happy for a breeder to ask questions etc , I have nothing to hide and if a breeder decided not to give me a pup I would look into how to improve my situation.

Two of my dogs made it to 17 :) even though the were deaf and incontinent they were still able to get around... I am sure it's the love and care you have given Hobbs that he has made it this far :)

Singapore Zoo is one place I never got to see... We were only there for a day, we got there at 6.30pm and had to be at the airport the next morning I love Singapore... Would love to go back one day :)

My first dog as a child was a Poodle :) He was the most loyal dog we have owned .... My Nana would catch the bus to our place every Wednesday and Marcus would sit waiting at the bottom of our street, he knew what time she got off the bus, he would also wait for us in the same spot waiting for us to finish school :) He was my heart dog.

You are doing an amazing job :) the trainer should get a kick up the a** ! Relax and enjoy your dog :)

I check my two dogs everyday for grass seeds ... They don't actually mind it because it feels good that someone is running their hands through their fur :) my Kelpie had to get one removed after sniffing the grass and it travelling up her nasal passage... They are nasty
