I have a few favs but would likely forget to name them all. I love Perse's photos - 'specally of Don I think Blinkblinks Gruff is handsome & Stressmagnets Ernie sounds like a dude. Huskis Wiz is stunning. As is ping. Thistle is cute too. And ive fallen for Westie mums & Boronias packs... very much... I'm sure there's are a tonne more ive accidently forgotten. Please forgive me.

Poor girl. Poor woman. We lost dog we were babysitting once - such a terrible feeling when youre supposed to be caring for a dog who doesnt belong to you! All too well Glad your lot didnt get into too much mischief.

It's funny how fast stuff changes - in the time between palliative care for my last dog and a 6 month break it felt like the whole world changed - especially around insurance and flea treatments! OK -big breath. Just trying to be practical here - maybe you could have a phone consult with someone to review her blood work? It's great that you have recent bloods too - it;s a good base to start from.

I'll reiterate that they are all different & i have next to zero experience - but wanted to add: In Sydney there is the Sydney dogs & cats home. It IS the pound for 9 Sydney councils but they're a no kill facility. My understanding is that long termers get put into foster & respite as needed aling with access to other care (vet etc) as needed.

Scott wouldnt appreciate bells :) he wears jumpers so an xmas tshirt wouldn't be too much of an ask ;) My last dog did antlers well. He "cousin" not so much. Eeek! My front counter is literally one step from my main grooming table. I run a completely open shop. Not only can I see what is going on anywhere in the salon at any time, but also can my clients. Yup.

This was leave the room, serve at front counter, have a chat. Both times. Wont be leaving Scott there on his own.

Yup. I (obviously) don't use Blinkblink but im fussy. There is a local place, where you can also DIY - ive had to use twice in a week - once for a regular bath & once the ither day for an emergency "he rolled in poo" bath. Both times ive seen them walk away with dogs on tables for extended periods. Chills me to the bone.

My Aunts dog had cushings. It was hard, but they managed for quite a while with it. I think from memory they had to stop vaccinating. Good luck at the vets monday xxx
