A foster carer has taken some pics of her foster dog on her phone, but has no idea how to get them off to send them to us. I wouldn't even know how to use the camera on my phone Step by step instructions needed please - and type very slowly

Is it possible to wipe information from a microchip before dumping? My boys chip was wiped and I only realised when I went to put my own details on there when we decided we were keeping him. I don't know - but it is possible to "cut them out".

Some do fine with free range chooks - some don't If you adopt from a reputable group, they will make sure any hound you adopt has been in foster care with chooks.

Have treid to get some of the shelters here in Melbourne to do that - but they don't want to get involved.

I agree - greyhounds generally do not do well in a pound situation. To be "dumped" then serve time in a stressful envirnoment, then pts is not a nice way for a greyhound to go. Far kinder to pts. Greys are surrendered to shelters here in Vic, and it is interesting to note that the owners often tick the "rehomed as a pet" box, which is incorrect acording to GRV when we ring to have their ear brands checked. I can see the spin doctoring now - "Increase in greyhounds rehomed in NSW... 40% rehomed as pets..blah blah" when in actual fact they have been dumped then pts and the box ticked!

Mmmmm wondering if the vet sells his/her own doggy brand? I use Naturesway joint food from the supermarket - works just as well as jointguard and about half the price. Tried sasha's blend, as I was sent a sample, but he got an but upset tummy pretty much straight away.
