This looks like a chocolate with a faded coat to me?

It was good fun. And quite exciting - almost like using film. I couldn't wait to get home and see what we had got :) The unfortunate thing is they are very low resolution when using the time lapse mode and no ability to change exposure or focus or anything but still good fun. Is it sad to say I only got the camera so I could attach it to the dogs??
-
Ok, here we go. Photo credits on the pictures to each "photographer". And it was interesting that the pictures from each of them were quite different and the field of view of a beagle compared to a border collie is quite different.

I don't have an underwater camera but I have an imitation go pro. I tied it the dog's collars one day and went to the beach. it has a time lapse mode and took photos every 5 seconds while they ran around :) I will upload some. They aren't brilliant but it was fun to do.

Contact Diamonds and they will know who the authorised repairer is for Adelaide. I took my camera in as I know they do some repairs and they were really honest in saying it was not something they were very familiar with and gave me details of who I should go to (mine is Sony and was an electrical issue so different repairer - someone on Halifax St).

I did some googling - the Sony harness doesn't support go pro mount system unfortunately as the harness does look better.

I second this. Jazz was a nightmare as a puppy - worst I have had. Seriously could have killed her or sent back to the breeder at 1 point, I like my sleep! We had "operation keep puppy awake" - about an hour and a half before bedtime we spent an hour ensuring she didn't crash and have a nap - played with her, trained her, had the big dogs play with her. Then she was given half an hour unwind time with toilet stop as well. This was so she was tired when she went to bed (as well as early morning screaming we had screaming when going to bed as well). Before going to bed I would prepare a kong or something else for her but not give it to her. I would get up during the night for a toilet stop before she started whinging and every few nights changed the time by 5 or 10 minutes. Then in the morning just before her usual wake time, I would get up toilet her and then put her in the crate with the kong. This gained us an extra couple of hours in the morning. And as with the first toilet stop I gradually moved that time back as well so that eventually the kong was breakfast. Good luck! It does get better.

You mean this 1 I was thinking of it too :) What was it, 2 practice sessions, and OMG 7 years ago!!I had forgotten the Advertised photo :) The Aussie Dog stall they both always loved though.

I can't find the words very well. For me memories of Ness are linked so strongly to memories of Piper that Ness going has upset me more than I expected. They had their first obedience trial on the same day and we were the other pair in the count back. She opened up a world to you - all because you figured someone needed to train the family dog. She will always hold a big place in your heart for the many firsts you had together. I would say and now she is running free, but really with Ness it is more of a meander around seeing what she can find :)

Turkey necks, roo neck or tail pieces are favourites here. I have never given something so large that they don't finish it straight up and if it was larger than their normal portion then I average it out with a couple of smaller meals. That is 1 of the things with raw feeding - balance over a period of time not in every meal. So the time they had a half a pig head (OMG the farts afterwards!!!) they just had small meals the next couple of days.

Don't wait for me - decided with the crappy exchange rate right now that mot of the things I am after aren't really that much cheaper.

I think ti cost them a fortune last time. Shipping was often worth more than the items sent. I will just go and have a look. This could be dangerous. LOL

This is how it goes in our place as well. Well at least it did for Jazz. I don't really remember calling Piper puppy but I probably did. As for age of puppy behaviour ending - that varies in individuals. Ricky and Piper were both quite young and mentally "mature" as in under 12 months. Reagan was puppy like almost all his life. Jazz remained puppy like until about the time of her first litter and Cinna is 2 and very immature both physically and mentally.

It must be a beagle thing :) Even if I wave roast chicken around, I still get the stare. If anything it is more intense in a "JUST GIVE IT ME NOW!!" kind of way. -

Yes daisy always gets made fun of for looking sullen in photos! The only time she smiles in pics is when she's panting lol. Exactly! But even if I talk to her in a happy excited voice - favourite things "car ride", "dinner" etc I just get the stare. If I am lucky she will at least tilt her head a fraction to indicate she is listening. LOL -

We hardly have any nice photos of her -even when not being made to wear silly head gear, that is how she looks if I try and get photos. She has the pissed off "you'r so dead" stare down perfectly. I always say she is more like a cat than a dog. LOL -

And this is what the border collies really thought of it -

I tortured my girls on the weekend. Individual and group pictures. Jessi the beagle never looks happy in pictures but when I made her return for the group photos, I am fairly sure she started to plot my death. Cinna thought it was all very unfair... Jazz is so easy to get photos of. And the group photos Jazz was over it by the end -
Beautiful babies and lovely photos of them :) Probably a dumb question but how can you tell if they will grey or not?

A boy that I bred was bitten by 1 a few months ago. He had a massive swelling by the next day and within another 24 hours it had formed what looked like an abscess. It took a good 6 weeks for it to start healing. He visibly reacted (yelped, turned biting at his flank) when it happened/immediately after it happened. Given how much smaller Neko is then a BC, I very much hope she hasn't been bitten I think you would know fairly quickly if she was bitten.

The cost you re looking at is to do the Cert IV to be a trainer. To become a therapy dog with them doesn't cost unless of course you need to book into classes for training to help you pass the assessment.

The zoo and night safari seem to be more humid than anywhere else we went. I guess it is the fact you are in a forest on the edge of a large body of water that adds to it.

Thanks. I went a bit nuts with photos. River Safari is awesome to - it is an off shoot to the zoo and very new. It is based around major river systems of the world, lots of underwater exhibits and the best thing was CLEAN glass and good covered walkways so minimal glare/reflection. I saw at least 4 staff walking around constantly cleaning viewing windows. The domes at the gardens were also incredible and I loved the Super Trees. We missed the big light show they do every night - got there just towards the end of it. I could have spent hours under there at night, it was such a different feeling, really like being in another world.
