  1. I like 4 then 3 ideas. But why try to rush the shows? If people don't want to be at a show till 5pm then they can choose not to enter or not to stick around if they win a class in group. I realise this would be a very long day on the committee. I also like the idea of two fresh judges judging the group or general specials but prefer them to be an All breeds not just for 5 groups. I am for ALL classes to compete for their class in show. Don't like suggestion 1. Would these shows run the class 18? BB
  2. Poor snakey, glad the dogs are ok. I kept waiting for the snake to pop its head up & say "just tricking I am alive." BB
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I had to send a dog interstate last week and found the old address difficult to find. Hopefully this one is easier. BB
  4. I would say that is normal capansh. I don't like that system but thats how they do it. Enjoy Mt G. BB
  5. Sounds like you all had a great weekend away, except for being bitten by wasps. Hoping to make it next year. Thanks for the results Capanash. BB
  6. Capansh, there was a St Poodle entered but didn't show up, I don't have a catalogue so can't tell you. Had a nice day out in the sun. Our boy Majik beat several other breeds for JUNIOR IN GROUP but didn't get anywhere in GS. Thought the little black & white birds were abit cheeky coming up close to dogs & trying to steel food off trolleys. A gorgeous Chocolate Shar pei won baby in group. BB
  7. Lovely day out at Bunyip today. I didn't get very far but I think Ophnbark has something to tell. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: BIG 7 was Shar Pei rubig was Dal British bulldog got a class, Dal got another class. St Poodle got a class. Thats all I can remember BB
  8. been awhile since I was at KCC park, I hope they have mowed the lawn area so grass is short or do you think we'll be inside? BB
  9. Can't wait for tomorrows show, hoping we all have a nice day out. BB
  10. Thansk for that Rebanne. I spoke to the person with Neuter Schipp and she checked her cheque book and she still had the cheque in there waiting to be posted so she has missed out 12 points now. Hope you have a good show. BB
  11. WOW a car as a raffle prize. This is part of the Central west Circuit. A FANTASTIC circuit. Book Accomodation ASAP though. Camping is allowed. There is a hydrobath at Condobolin caravan park if needed. I am hoping to go this year. BB
  12. Thanks Sway. I hope we all have a good day out. BB
  13. My first show in soooo long, I can't wait. I am hoping for nice weather. I saw the star on the map and take it as where the dog judging is. BB
  14. Rebanne, I heard there was a Neuter Schipp entered in grp 7 and two less Schipps entered for Sunday, just wondering if your counting is correct? BB
  15. Have fun at the royal. I haven't been to Sydney for several years now so not familiar with their set up. If you have a wall behind/beside you I guess you could put up paper signs with your dog's name (pet and or registered name), breed. Just not wins he/she has had recently. Take blue tack, sticky tape or some sort of bulldog clips. Trend in Melbourne is for Sashes that have the above info on it in what ever colors you want. Just contact a sash supplier. (Marellan in NSW) Hope that helps. BB
  16. Did you all enjoy yourselves in the sun shine at Ballarat? Does anyone have the grp 7 results? BB
  17. CONGRATS Sway & Hudson. What did the judge say when she did that Marinapoint? I decided to give the show a miss and go up the country & see my parents and spend time with my 4yr old nephew. Hope you all had a good day. BB
  18. Also sposted in General section. Hi All, not sure if many of you have seen the adverts for A Current Affair tonight (Friday 23 march 2012) in Melbourne @ 6:30pm. They doing a story on People promised puppys and paid thousands for them & not getting them which is a scam. I wonder breed they are focussing on? Adverts show pugs. I know most people don't like this show or style of reporting, and most people have heard of these scams. Just hope they don't pick on registered breeders too much. BB

  20. Yay for indoors, we still have to rug up though as it may be cold. BB
  21. If you like the Spitz type of dog a Schipperke would be a great mate. BB
  22. Thank you for the numbers. I am hoping for indoors with the forecast so far. BB
  23. Can anyone please post the group numbers for the Eltham KC at KCC Park this weekend. It seems I didn't put in a return envelope. Does any one know if we will be indoors or out? Fridays Forecast sounds bad so grounds might be too soggy. Thank you BB
  24. If the ears are big in size I cut them in half for my Schipps. One dog prefers to hive his tenderized before he will eat it, so I swap his dry ear for some one elses ear that they have started on. Usually lasts about 5-10 minutes each. BB
