Just had a phone call from OH (captain Courageous) he & Ziggy PASSED :thumbsup: :thumbsup: Sun was out most of this morning :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: He mentioned that one or two dogs failed for some reason. he got some pics so will share later. Now he wants a "special lunch", I think the dog should get something special too! He'll sleep on the bed tonight I think. BB

Not again. Are they going to look at the drainage to see how it could be improved? Maybe a moat built around the venue? :laugh: BB

Good luck everyone, I hope no more rain falls over Altona or any where over Melbourne. No email received here from the Secretary as to whats happening. OH will be there with the Schipp, I asked him if he wanted me there and I got a very quick NO. Ohh well will have to wait till he's finished to hear how they went. At least I can stay in bed with the other Schipps. BB

I have heard of an adult Schipperke choking to death while eating a chicken wing (was raw). Never gave knecks as they tend to inhale their food, so prefer bones that are bigger than their mouths and no pointy bits. BB

One christmas I brought a couple of bags of the Darryl Lea Licorice & Baileys chocolate for my parents, I left them on the desk went out for a couple of hours and found the warpper all over the floor :mad The next day we had a two hour drive to my parents and their farts were horrible. :sick: :sick: At least Darryl Lea made money out of me that year. BB

I have no experience with either breed but have met a gorgeous Bullmastiff. My preference would be Bullmastiff. Good luck in choosing. BB

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone out there that may have some time on their hands at the moment, perhaps due to injury or illness. Or just bored. Our breed club's magazine editor is too busy that they can not finish putting the next issue of our magazine together. I have approached other members but they can't help. It is half completed using Microsoft Word double sided. There's not many photos to be included. I can email all items that need to go in and you can ph me if you have questions. Will also email you previous edition so you get the idea. Doesn't have to be flash, we need it completed as many members are upset over this delay & I don't blame them. I hope someone out there can help. Thank you BB

OH hasn't done any training this past week due to bad weather & other excuses. I too would love to see a DOLER grp photo, OH should have the camera with him. If SnowPaws or anyone else wants to meet up at Cherry lake for practice PM me. I too think the smaller breeds should get a big medal. We got the vet check form today in the post. BB

I don't use drontal, I use any other brand I can find. Its too strong or my breed doesn't like the ingrediants. use another brand next time. BB

OH has done "some" practice with our Schipp for the one held by the GSDCV. Schipp can do 12ks an hour but not sure for how many k's OH is doing in one session. If anyone wants to do a group run around Cherry lake send ME a PM & I'll pass it onto OH (captain Corageous) sorry don't think I spelt it correctly but you get the idea who. Saturday or Sunday would be better for him. Thanks BB

When showing two or three dogs, you have them in the trolley and move the trolley next to the entrance so you can swap dogs easily and people stand & chat right in front of your trolley, so you can't access the doors. When you need to use a pooper scooper or rubbish bin & you can't find either one. Stewards who don't announc loud enough what classes BIG & RUBIG came from so everyone ask's everyone else what class the dog came from. BB
