I have heard of a mother & daughter Schipperke having pups around the same age and both mothers took turns looking after both sets of babies (I think there were 6 pups) so the breeder put both litters together in a whelping box and let both mothers mix when ever they wanted too. BB

I found recently an OZ site for medication & other items www.trixanpet.com.au they do charge for postage. BB

"PUGS are a mess" The AAPDB is Australian Association of Pet dog breeders inc and are chaired by "EXPERTS" who breed Oodles & other cross breds. Claims the only place to buy a dog is from this association. He has a Pet Forum on his site. The VCA should be counter acting this media release!!!!! BB

Some Augusts I am away from melb otherwise I could help as I like to get experience handling different breeds. I too would like to enlist a Junior handler sometimes to handle my dogs so I can see what they look like but I can't seem to get anyone wanting a rare breed. Good luck in your search. BB

You say pups are nearly 8 weeks old and caught it slightly? I would keep them for an extra 7 days after the last puppy coughed, explain the situation to the new owners they should understand and be able to wait an extra week. We give all our dogs BENADRYL ORIGINAL cough syrup (from any chemist) via a syringe down the throat. Good luck BB

Had to reschedule the appointment but had it done. DEFINATLY 2, one on each side of her, no wonder she looks balanced. Her previous litters were 3 4 3 , more boys than girls and all blacks. Have to wait now to see what these will be. BB
