Miranda
Great news, I hope it's as good as the US Nutro. Is there a list of ingredients available anywhere?

Miranda
It's not the same, Miranda.Sags Oh bummer Is it very different? Who's making it?
Sagittarian
It's owned by Masterfoods and sits alongside their Advance brand. It is certainly made here and I am in no way suggesting it isn't an excellent food - only time will tell. Sags

ShesaLikeableBiBear
MMM packaging is the same BUT ingredients? Sags, if and when you get a chance, can you please send details of what you know? We fed Nutro for nearly eight years and were very happy with the US product but this could be a completely new ballgame We have been feeding Artemis since the beginning of the month and are very happy having tried Orijen and Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance which didn't agree with ours. We keep Ziwipeak as a backup
cassie
I hope it turns out to be decent. I used to feed Nutro and the dogs did really well on it. They mainly get a raw diet now but it's nice to have a back up food. Will be interested to hear what you have to say about it Sags when you get the chance. (No rush! )
Teebs
I am interested too, i really dont think i will go back to it (on nutrience now and the dogs are going very well on it - and i get it for a fantastic price ) but still interested
piper
They are launching a webpage for it but still under construction. Probably worth keeping an eye on though for ingredient info: http://www.nutro.com.au/
Sagittarian
It would be interesting to see the ingredients of Chicken, Oatmeal and Rice (I think that is the old Sensitive?) listed, as well as Light. My suggestion to anyone who used Nutro is to formulate a list of their important questions (for me it is things like meat content (which Nutro used to state), why the inclusion of "corn protein" in some products) and regarding sodium levels), and send them to Masterfoods for a response. There will apparently be samples available to some stores, in some areas, so again, may be worth asking direct for some. Happy to answer pms. SilverHaze
I was given a bag of the lamb adult food tonight by my SIL who works for masterfoods. Had no idea it was back (so to speak) until she gave me that bag! I'll see what other info she finds out through work.

benny123
I, too will be anxious to see what the Aus produced Nutro is like. I was very happy with the original Lamb and Rice and the dogs did really well on it and loved the taste. After that we moved to ProPlan Selects Lamb and Oats, but now that is also no longer being imported into Australia (apparently it wasn't too popular) They're currently on the ProPlan Salmon - they seem to love that as well, but I can't stand the fishy smell. JulesP
No surprising the Proplan select didn't sell - Petstock didn't know the price and wouldn't sell it to people!!!!
