I would've thought keplie. I know there was a bloke who used to cross whippets with kelpie purely to train for dog high jumps. dont know if they were better than the kelpies though, and of course you asked what breed and thats a x breed so doesn't count.

There is also a Malinois named Brox here in the USA who competes in the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge events. He holds the "world record" in extreme vertical (running, jumping up forward to grab a bar and landing in water), I think somewhere around 8+ feet. I'll see if I can find the video.

the Guinness World Record for "highest jump by a dog" went to a Greyhound named "Soaring Cindy". Cindy, a 5-year-old, 60-pound pooch from Miami, cleared 5'-8" (173 cm) on her first attempt, winning her the honor at the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge national finals.
