Sentinel

Yes - I use Sentinel Spectrum as my wormer and heartwormer (they don't need h/w here - but I keep it up for mainlnad trips.) It contains the required dose of praziguantel for treating tapeworm, including hydatid tapeworm - which dogs coming back into Tasmania are required to be wormed for.

Thanks. When I mentioned a couple of my dogs were on Sentinel she said they would need separate tapeworm treatment and sent me home with some virbac. But rechecking the package at home tapeworm is covered. Maybe she was confusing Sentinel Spectrum with the old Sentinel then  .

Yeah, it's definitely covered, that's the main reason I use Sentinel, I'd be informing your vet that she is incorrect, other people may not check and unnecessarily give their dogs more chemicals than are needed.
