Osteoarthritis

I use the natural animal solutions omega oil, but I prefer the blackmores osteo care to the natural animal solutions joint care, as it is pretty much pure green lipped mussel :)

I think this Blackmore's product is a capsule, not a chew?

Just wondering if it works out cheaper than Pernease?

The Blackmores Osteocare I use is a chew - I get it from Pet Stock. I am sure I could probably source it cheaper on line but as I am over there a fair bit anyway, I just buy it there.

They have a reward program and it adds up pretty quickly to get a discount.

Zig has 2 chews a day and I think I just paid $68 for 100 chews.

Have been thinking about this recently - so this is a great time for the topic to pop up.

Anyone have any comments, feedback, other on this product

Seems a cost effective and easy way for me to introduce green lipped mussels to the diet. Anything I should be wary of? We used to human feed fish oil and gluclosamine capsules (to another dog) with no (obvious) side effects.

Tried to buy chicken feet today at a specialist chicken place and was told they don't have a license to sell them and export them all. Anyone know about this???? Would love to feed my lot a couple a day as a preventative.

I just get them at our little country IGA ...down the back with chicken necks & bones & pet meat ..... ( in S.A )

Both my local chicken shops in Canberra carry them.

I use the blackmores osteo tablets, but they're designed to pull them apart and put the contents onto food if you want.

I found pernease powder hard to get the right dos, so I went through it quicker - so for me it ended up more expensive.
