Frank&Hugo
Hi Our gorgeous 12wk old English Springer Spaniel pup Hugo has developed a lump on the top of his head. It sits quite high & about the size of a 20cent piece, we first noticed it after some rough play with our older dog but it doesn't seem to be going down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Diva
Are you sure it isn't just his occiput? In some breeds it can be quite noticable, but I don't know about springers. Perhaps call your dog's breeder and ask.
Snoopy21
Is it round like a 20c piece?

tdierikx
Can you get a photo of the offending lump at all and post it here? Hard to diagnose by description alone... T.
Rebanne
could be an abcess from a stray tooth getting him from your older dog, could be the occiput. Part the hair and check out the skin and see if you can see any tiny marks. If so you need to go see the vet with your pup

persephone
Vet is the best option , I think. It could be a number of things , and best to be sure with a puppy

Either way, I'd be getting it checked.
Blastoise
Does he feel terrible if you slightly press on that bump? If yes, a check in a vet is neccessary.
