  1. Congrats to Sumo. How lovely that his sister will still be in his life at times. It will be fun to see them both grow up and see them at shows together.
  2. Great photo. Love the bush in the background.
  3. WOW!! Such talented, no gifted, people on DOL.
  4. That is really terrific, Tikira. Love the whole treatment - very effective. Dog's not too bad either
  5. A shame they have been separated - from what I have read here and in other places, it can sometimes take a little while for the instincts to kick in. Had the mother been kept with the puppies, she may have come around. However, I hope you find a surrogate quickly.
  6. The first rule when associating with a rescue group in any capacity is: If in doubt Don't. :)
  7. This has really confused me, Jellyblush. I cannot begin to understand what messages googling would have provided to bring you to a decision to post or not to post . And if a rescue group has asked you not to post about your experiences, then I would be dropping that rescue group like a hot potatoe. That said, would love to have an update on how you are going. We have all become very fond of you and Roo and care about how you are progressing :) .
  8. This is very exciting. I certainly wish you, Roo and Grey (Groo??  ) luck and harmony in abundance and that the threesome can become permanent.
  9. Oh, I think that the Zipp and Zigg show should be a definite starter
  10. So what is the problem? There are those big, mostly silver, things that go up in the air cross the oceans and come down again
  11. Oh, I am so jealous . I had a look at her FB page again and saw little Panda. What a little sweetheart.

  13. What a devastating loss for you and your family, Lhok. And what a tragedy that such a young puppy was taken from you so soon, never having the chance to grow into a totally loved adult with all the joys that would bring. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies. Rest easy, beautiful Raiden.
  14. The puppies are looking just beautiful, Chezal, and doing what all puppies should have the chance to do: romp in the garden with other dogs, find things to chew on and just chill.
  15. Yes, good idea! :) I would love to see another picture of him! LOL, Winterpaws, daily updates are obviously going to be mandatory for the rest of Bob's life.
  16. Long time since I needed that. I've amended the title and put it all in main title.

  18. I was looking for another thread and came across this one. I didn't vacuum yesterday and today the place looks like a grooming parlour. I was wondering whether it could be something to do with age as well?? Because I didn't have this problem in my previous house which was occupied by as many dogs and also had wooden floorboards. I still have three of the same dogs, but they are all elderly now, that is 8.1/2 years older. The amount of hair floating around is just extraordinary. I even found some on the windows today - must have been moist from condensation and then hair flying around attached itself. The vacuum clearner awaits LOL.
  19. Remember the story about someone in the USA offering a prize of millions for someone to find a non surgical birth control method for domestic animals? It is here on DOL somewhere. On Radio National Bush Telegraph this morning a scientist from Uni of Newcastle has been interviewed and it would appear they are getting close. http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/bushtelegraph/
  20. Not necessarily. The dog has shown aggression only to the child. In another place he might be the perfect dog . Finding that place that could be difficult, time consuming and probably emotionally exhausting.
  21. The difference here, PRADA68, is that you recognised what you needed to do, both for yourself and for your dogs and acted accordingly.
