  1. It is understandable that you are reluctant to contact the person who recommended the breeder to you. However, if the breeder is not returning any of your contact methods, you really are absolutely entitled to do this. You have been handed a very unhappy situation which for the sake of both you and the little dog, needs to be resolved. For someone who cares about dogs, to see a dog scared and unhappy is vey very distressing, so I wish you and the little dog a happy outcome eventually.
  2. 5 dogs all at once - aren't you a glutton for punishment. And thank goodness you are Those little dogs are going to have the best introduction to the big outside world. They are all gorgeous Rachel and so are you and your Best Boys !!
  3. He hasn't been gone long from his real mummy, remember. I am sure other multi-dog households could comment as well, but it seems to me that, despite all dogs getting on well, there are always a couple more attached to each other than to the others. Like so - look at Tamar trying to squeeze into a tiny bed with Jeune LOL.
  4. Oh Lordy - that is hilarious She is just gorgeous too.
  5. Congratulations Wonderful to read of your happiness ..... very infectious
  6. Hmm, she doesn't look too relaxed in her new home to me. She is obviously terrified.   Congratulations and I hope having Missy does indeed help Lucy.
  7. It is good to see that there has been some action, Caz. Three weeks seems an awfully long time, but in the scheme of things, not so long. Nothing strange or misdirected about not wanting to change anything that is testament to "Buddy Lived Here". Buddy was a special part of your life and soul which has been cruelly wrenched away. Healing is hard enough at the best of times. Courage to continue the work to commemorate Buddy.
  8. Thank you. Off to Google. Thank you Ilka for posing so beautifully and drawing my attention to the TT
  9. A dog could ask no more. Sincere condolences - it is a very sad and hard time.
  10. I am privileged to have met Rocko - if he had have fitted into my car, he'd be a Moocher now, but somehow I think his absence would have been noted.  First rule of dog "ownership": never ever ever resist the urge to smooch :D :D
  11. I hope you let her new homers know that she has a fan club that has to be kept fed - LOL. Totally but the stone at her feet - are they pavers or the remains of a pathway? I'm looking for pavers and like the look of whatever it is.
  12. Just goes to illustrate how, no matter what their size, a dog is first and foremost a dog
  13. There seem to be lots of small businesses starting up - this one sounds good. http://www.smh.com.au/small-business/startup/pet-project-goes-down-a-treat-20130123-2d6nf.html
  14. I'm surprised we didn't hear of a flood out your way, Rachel LOL. You and Bridgette having a happy cry together!!! Wonderful story and long may the Bridgette and Buddy partnership endure. Love the pix of the little whitish dog hanging around. Obviously has a thing going for Buddy.
  15. Very cute. "Very Elderly Ladies" have pretty jazzy pants
  16. I'm not posting pix of my dogs, as everyone would be too jealous, I just want the house in the background, please. :D :D
  17. Your children are going to be so grateful Ping to have such a wonderful record of their growing up. Love the photos.
  18. LOL. Evolving has to have it written in the contracts that we have to be regularly dated :provoke: :laugh.:
  19. Never in a 100 years, Caz. What a gorgeous gorgeous boy ..... as is the rest of your pack. Look at the little girls waiting patiently on the outside.
