  1. Earl investigating in the yard LOL Now you see it & now you don't
  2. OK here are some more photos of Earl & also his brother Buddy who is still to find his forever home. Such happy cheeky boys - they have just returned from a two week holiday with a friend whilst I was trying to cope with my Mum passing away.
  3. I would go wire crates so they can have some air flow in the car. You can cover the side facing the window so that she can't see out that way. I secure my crate in the back of my Hyundai Tucson (when the seats are down) by using a hockey strap around the head rest. This stops the crate from moving. I would also be buying two separate crates for each of them. Also makes it easier when getting dogs out of the car ie you are not trying to contain one whilst getting the other one out.
  4. I am sure if you contact Dogs NSW and give them plenty of time, they would be interested. I would also contact any obedience/agility clubs in the area and see if they would participate too.
  5. Dear Brandi, I was there to watch you come into the world and I was there to hold you leaving it. Although not shown much, you produced some beautiful babies for me and for others to love. You kept all in the yard in line with only a look and if that wasn't enough, you could down them without a sound. You kept the young ones out of mischief. You loved a cuddle and a pat. I will miss your poke in the leg to get my attention. You will be missed grumble bum but your legacy lives on through your children and their offspring. You fought a hard battle last year and stayed with me for another 12 months. I know that you will keep Mum company up there seeing you decided to leave this world on the same day. I don't think I will forget having to say goodbye to Mum early in the morning and then get a call to say you were not well either. Run free Brandi and thank you for all your love over the years.
  6. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Mum passed away early yesterday morning so is now out of pain. She was a beautiful lady & will be remembered as such.
  7. Sorry guys, will post some more photos of Earl at a later date but unfortunately have been spending most of my time at the hospital as my beautiful Mum has suffered a massive stroke and won't be with us much longer. Life certainly sucks at the moment.
  8. Just thought I would post a picture of my new sheltie boy that I bred. His call name will be Earl and I haven't decided on a show name yet.
  9. Thought I would post some pictures of my babies who are now seven weeks old. Boy with the larger blaze is the one I am keeping. The girl is going to a lovely home in Adelaide and I am still to find a home for the other boy.
  10. A heated bed for my little babies but will probably give it to the old girl to sleep on.
  11. Aw pockets I feel for you. I know what that is like too. Just so heartbreaking. June definately has not been a kind month to babies. Hope all those who do have babies are going well. Mine are getting bigger each day and at four weeks are starting to be little dogs. Love it when patting them, their little tails wag.
  12. Oh indigirl so sorry that you lost one. Hope mum & puppy are OK.
  13. So how are everyone's babies doing? Mine are now two weeks old and fat as LOL All have their eyes open now but still waiting for ears to open. Kitty is a very good mum and pups are no trouble. Here is a photo of them.
  14. So glad to hear that Thomas is improving
  15. Fingers crossed for you Bel - always a worrying time when one of them isn't well. Hope baby comes through OK.
  16. Is he toileting OK? He could be constipated and having tummy pain?
  17. If you post whereabouts you are in NSW, someone may be able to give you the name of vet who regularly does these tests.
  18. Can I also announce the birth of a lovely litter here last Saturday 1st June. We also had to rush for an emergency caesar due to one dead pup but I have three beautiful babies - 2 boys & 1 girl. All are doing well. One photo is their first feed home from the vet and the next is 5 days later (other way round LOL). Congrats on all the other "winter" babies too.
  19. Moosemum - there would probably be two registers. One for pedigree breeds and one for associated breeds.
  20. Cowanbree, I would also ask some of the USA breeders re: herpes virus. I will check my computer when I get home as a friend from USA sent me some info.
  21. Am sure there is a map of ring placement on Dogs NSW site. If they park in the area opposite toilet block and walk down main path to second ring on their right (going down path from road), they will find ring 6.
  22. I will there on the 31st March with the shelties :)
  23. Thanks Megz - the only group I didn't get to see was the pastoral which of course had the sheltie in it. Never mind, will watch when I get home. Love the BIS winner - lovely little bitch.
  24. So just checked world times on white pages and for EST Crufts will start at 8.00pm tonight - can't wait
  25. Sway, when you finish your guys, you are more than welcombe to try doing mine. Uggghh who would think that shelties can be so strong when it comes to scaling their teeth. Have two that make such a song & dance about it, I just let them go. You would think I was pulling their teeth out :D
