i'd say its his undercoat i'd be giving him a rreally good brush out otherwise it knots up!!!

aft4er reading this ive realised we dont charge near enough for our clips so they are all going up by $5-$20 after chrissy

i really dont know if anyone can help but a month ago i bought an olympus FE-280...its a really great camera but i took it to a wedding and after a few drinks i got it out to take some pics and now the screen is blurry and it makes an odd noise, i have the warntee for it but not the reciept will i need it to get it fixed? can anyone help me

i wouldnt do it....the coat could grow back terrible.... the best way to keep a lab kool would be how u suggested paddling pool blocks of ice ect!!! but in saying that people do do it, my mum is clippinga lab today who has been clipped a fair few times before and even thou mum had encouraged them just to keep getting him washed reguarly the have still choosen to get him clipped (their reason behind clipping was because he sheds too much)

our guys get super coat....they all seem to do well on it, althou they realy dont get a great deal opf it their meals mostly consisit of chicken necks raw egg chick mince or roo mince veggies and all the good stuff!!!

i give the boys RAw egg twice a week...i would have thought raw egg would be better than poached (sorta like raw meat verse cooked meat) but am probably wrong!!!

we stuff ours with peanut butter (smooth not crunchie) and dry food or cheese or devon.... they usually play with them for an hour or more!!!

LOL the funny thing is ive taken time off this week so shes been bugging me more than usual but ive got so much going on so even if i wanted to i can fit her in, i cant!!!

she expects me not to charge her as much just because i dont have to use fuel to get to her!!!

so this is a question for mobile groomers or groomers that groom from home. If someone came to your door on a sunday asking you if you would groom their dog would you be offended? what about if the say game round after 6pm after they have seen you drive home? one of our neighbours that lives up the back here is doing this to me and i refuse to do her dog because ONE i dont work AT ALL sundays, i wont even do my own dogs on a sunday why would i do hers and two i dont want to come home after a long hard day and groom another dog unless of course she makes an apointment!!! she didnt take it well either when i told her i couldnt help, her response "oh well your not busy are you?" no i wasnt but its beside the point and im sick of explaining to her that if she wants the dog done she needs to book an apointment...is it really that hard? :rolleyes:

i charge different for different dogs... staffys or anything smaller that a staffy with a short coat gets $25 any thing small-medium (say lab size) that fluffy or has thick coat is $30 huskys (and anything like a husky) and giant breeds with short coats (danes) $35 giant hairy dogs like newfies are $40 cause it takes so bloody long to get them dry!!! and i probably over charge when it comes to clipping because i mostly like to just wash clipping is not fun!!!

our get "oi" "shut up" or "quite" and 9 times out of ten they respond our dogs bark at cats and people walking past the house ESPCIALLY i they have a dog off lead that feels the need to come on to our property!!! if they dnt shut up the get a cup of water thrown at tme and all but 2 will take that as punishment...two love it...

thanx guys atleast now i know what i am getting myself in for think i charged a little bit low but i can always bump it up if he looks really bad and it takes forever....they have a PBGV aswel whos ment to be in similar condition so evern more fun...
