  1. well - it has been an adventurous morning! Smoke got barrelled by Bruce ..and came up growling/yipping/biting/chasing - the perfect working dog response!! I was expecting busted ribs/hip - but altho carrying one leg for about a minute , all seems well! THEN.. we had visitors call in ..and master pricklebottom came to say "hi" they hopped out their car, and fussed about him for some time - we were standing behind the 4WD and at the front of their S/wagon. THEN ..the S/Wagon crept forwards I yelled we all jumped out the way . Smoke was about to be under a wheel.. Someone used a walking stick like a hockey stick and lofted him into my arms ... My brother jumped into the SW and brought it to a halt about 6 cm from his 4WD !! PHEW... taken just now ....
  2. Hope you are doing OK ...how's your Mum ?
  3. I haven't bought any for yonks ..but - the SMELL!
  4. he has lots of 'Don' about him - but is tough and seems to have his mum's drive .We might have fluked a "best from both sides" pup!
  5. so it's a bit like the good ol'FLINT's medicated oil? That too is magic - but the smell!!!
  6. MOSCOW's SUBWAY DOGS excerpt and it seems they thrive on salty, onion-laced/carb rich human fast-food ;)
  7. Glad he's ok - and also glad he enjoys his time with his walker - that's important . He IS getting walks/playtimes , so you are doing your best .
  8. i am so glad she is responding so well to selfie training ! :D
  9. It would concern me more, actually ....
  10. Cute- and WAY too knowing !!
  11. Snaps happen - and sometimes they connect . He may NOT have been in a fight - someone just gave him a message . Shame the walker didn't explain that , then you would have understood - makes me wonder what else she doesn't mention ..... "what happens on dog walk , STAYS on dog walk " ? How is he this morning?
  12. yes! It is good to see legs :)
  13. ;) I do go to town to get supplies occasionally LOL
  14. Today-, sandy and prickle-covered !
  15. better not show that to the amazing Stan!! :)
  16. ohhh- I feel bad for your Mum in an empty house now. could 'someone' perhaps drop off a needy kitten/pup/bird for her to care for for a while, perhaps? Just something else alive and needy and warm ... ((((((HUGZ)))))) I hope all the memories whizzing through your head are happy ones .
  17. On checking the photo again - roll up that lip ..and just see if there's any damage on the inside ..bruising/hole , etc . Just in case ;) and take photo ..AND show dog walker - and ask what he did do , if it isn't a tooth mark? Did he stick his head thru a wire fence/run into sticks....???
  18. I LIKE that bolded bit ...... and hopefully whatever/whoever left their mark has not also affected his little spotty psyche .
  19. ermmmm looks very much like a bite!! They don't look like grazes- the outlines look way too deep/neat . (I'd be very wary of a dog walker who let my dog get "grazes" like that - what the hell did he hit?) Thorough saline wash .. then betadine a ouple times a day ... if it is a bite ..there may well be some swelling /bruising . Just keep an eye on it ...and get to a vet if the area feels hotter /is swollen ..appears to dampen his enjoyment of the finer things in life. *disclaimer* NOT veterinary advice ...
