  1. IMO ,british bulldogs aren't really small :p they are also VERY different in care to little terriers ... kirislin's the whippet lady ...I love them , but don't know a lot about them . They are soft & silky to touch, and make terrific couch ornaments ..they drape themselves over you .. there are mini schnauzers.....
  2. Poor pup .. I hope he doesn't have an infection or injury to bone ..both of which can be exacerbated by massage & 'adjustment' My suggestion is, If you can ..get him to your vet tomorrow - get temperature checked , and swelling palpated /checked ..then, if there is no sign of infection or damage to joints etc .. by all means see the chiro again . Hope he gets better very soon.
  3. My guess is a vet visit. Was this chiro recommended to you ?
  4. phone your vet ...better to not wait for symptoms ..ask if they can ID the tick for you.
  5. This is great :) She isn't one for trawling thru links ..so I'll cut & paste these recipies/ideas & email her ....
  6. She bakes heaps - this might be a plan . after me saying to give the doggies more meat and less cereal :p <br class="Apple-interchange-newline">
  7. This is not a packet soup mix with flavour/salt/thickener - it is dried lentils. split peas, and barley in a bag ....... no added anything.
  8. A lovely way of acknowledging what this time has been like for you :) It's nice for us to see what this little man was like - a character, it seems ! :)
  9. Thanks ... but she likes giving them a bedtime snack :) ..maybe just a small ball of mince , then?
  10. this has no salt. it is dried lentils, dried yellow split peas, barley grains ...... nothing else. Sodium is 4 milligrams/100grams
  11. A friend has lost their job ..and has several small fluffies at home . they have had supercoat ad lib ..always have ,and do well on it . They also used to get roo fresh ..chicken necks , eggs ... eggs are not a problem ..chooks lay well :) There was a suggestion ,as well as some supercoat , to cook that packet 'soup mix'..lentils/barley /peas with veges , garlic & a small amount of roo mince for the bedtime snack. These dogs are not overweight ... .no allergies or anything that I know of ... I was not sure about too many lentils, etc ...has anyone ever used this for dogs? They would mostly be getting the dry ... I thought perhaps large tins of nature's gift given as a 'snack' might be economical, or am I wrong? Thanks :)
  12. :0 here I have to use the plastic coated metal stuff - clothesline?..and always have it attached 'round my waist on something with a bit of 'give' ..so I can still use walking stick & camera!! Anything fabric/woven/rubber collects prickles, burrs & associated sharp things
