  1. Thanks very much guys I was actually going for a horror/ominous sort of look so the first is probably my favourite. I found that the cyan tinge I gave it made it very eerie. They're actually two different photos, though I realise how similar they look now I achieved that misty look on the second one by blowing on the lens. I think the second photo is actually closer to my original vision - I wanted something with lots of fog and little colour. But after experimenting, as I said, I think I prefer the first. They both have very different moods, though.
  2. Thanks guys Those two love to cuddle with each other late at night. Lily isn't a big snuggler but she tolerates Chelsea You can find Jack and Scarlet curled up together on my couch most nights, too-
  3. And once again, would love your feedback Just an idea I've had for a while...finally put it into action the other night.
  4. God they are too ridiculously cute! I'm assuming you stole one? I love that first shot, just priceless Far out, they're adorable.
  5. Came out from my bath and found them like this...couldn't resist taking a photo -
  6. Gorgeous shots, I especially love the seagull ones, that clarity is just divine. Think the first is my favourite.
  7. Bit of an odd choice for the voice-over I think it's a shame they don't get the actual photographer to do it. It's awesome nonetheless, congrats again Bec! The milk one on the subwoofer is funky, too.
  8. They're brilliant Rach, give yourself more credit. I really love that third one. The quality of the 60mm looks great from what I can tell. Lynda, I'm not too keen on stock images to be honest. If someone came to me asking to use one that'd be fine, but I don't think I'd like having my images used in photo manips and stuff ETA: Thanks Perseph, thanks Mala
  9. Nawwww, thanks guys, really appreciate the lovely comments, it means a lot to me :D I'm glad my photos have that effect on people, that's lovely to hear. I'm not really the person to answer this question honestly. Obviously the main difference is simply the difference in how close you're going to be able to get to the subject. In terms of quality, I'm not sure what the variations between them are as I've only ever used the 100mm. Hit Ravyk up if you'd like to know what the 60mm is like. If you're keen to do 'proper' macro, i.e: 1:1 or closer, I wouldn't bother with the 50mm, but that's just me.
  10. Was lovely and wet yesterday so I ventured out with my 100mm - And one of the gorgeous Rosie-
  11. I see abuse He only has ONE pillow. What is this, MM?
  12. 108 pages dedicated to how much people love you, Jed - come back home. Still thinking of her and hoping for more good news.
  13. Sigh, the poor, poor boy He's just stunning. He sounds like a resilient boofer, I'm sure he'll do just fine with 3 legs. Wishing him an easy and fast recovery
  14. Ours also love them...we get them from our pet food delivery guy They get one every morning.
  15. Thanks a lot guys, much appreciated That's what I was going for Rav, but the photos I haven't cut it off in aren't as good, and after 50 attempts I was a bit over it Might try editing it a bit though
  16. Mmm, sexy - congrats! Have lots of fun with it.
  17. Here's this year's entry The theme is 'light'...pretty broad so I tried to be a bit creative. Obviously it's a broken lightbulb and I've tried to make it seem as though it's still alight, with the light sort of fizzling away. I'm not 100% happy with it but it's not too bad. Here's what ArtStreet is for those who missed me going on about it last year- http://www.artstreet.com.au/
  18. Absolutely stunning! She does look big for 6 months, though.
  19. Just reinforcing why I want one of these gorgeous little boofers Brilliant shots Bec, love them all!

Thanks again everyone, it was a truly wonderful surprise And Linda, you're absolutely right - it wasn't about the money, just about the fact that people like my photos enough to want them in their homes. Thanks Clyde, I love that one too...unfortunately lost all copies (originals and edits) of it when my HD crashed...pretty upset about that
