  1. Sooner or later you would hope that someone would point out that we are not cross bred breeders but rather purebred breeders and that in breeding is what we do!
  2. If all they are offering is COI there's no big deal in that there have been ample free systems available to do exactly that on the net for years.
  3. Sounds like dogs to me - big ones. You need a couple of Maremmas.
  4. You are welcome to give me a ring 0269276707 and Ill fill you in on the details. You cant just take older Maremmas which havent been working with sheep - they have to be specifically bonded with sheep especially if you have that many. You would be looking at around ten to do the job you need done.
  5. We have Maremmas - the year before we bought them we lost 500 lambs and Ive never lost one since. They live 24 hours a day every day of the year with the sheep regardless of whether they are lambing or not. How many you need is about how many in each mob. They work differently with two in the paddock than they do with one and they dont work like any working dog you have ever known - they dont round em up like your borders and kelpies do they move them by being the flock leader. Julie
  6. Its about the dog's digestive system. In humans we have enzymes that start to work in our mouths - dogs dont. I paint it on a fence post and while they are licking it I can do what I want at the back end without them noticing as much what Im doing Keeps em standing still.
  7. Anyone help me with what - if any - laws there are pertaining to restraining a dog in a car ? If not can you give me an idea on where I should go and who I should speak to in order to find out? Julie
  8. Becks full cost to have the book sent to England is $26
  9. Do the girls come on heat together and when they are on heat are they housed together?
  10. 34kgs? 10 mils twice per day every second week. So you do a week on and a week off. You want the one which is board certified and preserved with Natural Sodium Benzoate from berries (benzoic acid is found naturally in all berries) which is the safe version, and Potassium sorbate from the Ash tree berries.) If you like I can tell you where to get it. All Aloe juice isnt equal. The only side effect is a bit of runny poos so if you see this just back the dosage off to 5mils twice a day and increase it slowly over the next few days. Why Aloe? Because it has loads and loads of stuff in small quantities which all work together. Ive seen miracles occur with this stuff and because of the arginine and the other things which help arginine to work it even acts as a natural viagra. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, triglycerides, carbohydrates, amino acids, enzymes and water. The vitamins found in Aloe include B1, B2, B3 and B12, choline, folic acid, vitamin C and beta-carotene (a precursor to Vitamin A), which are all vital to optimal health and the formation of certain key enzymes.
Aloe has been shown to contain numerous essential minerals needed for good nutrition. Minerals found include calcium, magnesium, potassium, chloride, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, chromium, sulfur, aluminum, strontium, boron, silicon, lithium, phosphorus, nickel and sodium. All these minerals are vital in the growth process and essential for the function of all body systems. Aloe Vera also contains necessary triglycerides including fats, oil and waxes. They carry the fat-soluble vitamins, supply the fatty acids essential for growth and general health of all body tissue and help supply energy. Carbohydrates are also present in Aloe Vera to assist in digestion, to absorb the nutrients from foods and supply energy for muscular exertion. They also control protein breakdown, the distribution of sodium, potassium, chloride and water, for electrolyte balance. Identified carbohydrates include glucose, mannose and acemannan.[which is the big deal in immunity building] The amino acids known to exist in Aloe include lysine, histidine, arginine, aspartic acid, asparagine, threonine, serine, glutamine, hydroproline, proline, glycine, alanine, cystine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, glutamic acid and phenylalanine. Aloe Vera also contains critical enzymes that trigger the chemical reaction of vitamins, minerals and hormones for normal functioning of the body. Enzymes also promote digestive health. Enzymes in Aloe include: alkaline phosphates, SGO transaminase, SGP transaminase, lactic dehydrogenase, amylase, lipase, oxidase, peroxidase, catalase, bradykinase, gamma transaminase, carboxypeptidase and cellulase. Aloe contains 6 or more biogenic agents to stimulate new cell growth. They include cinnaminic and salicylic acids.
 Worth a go?
  11. A while back we had a GSD breeder who used to visit this forum - Holly- and she had some great stuff on feeding from a bowl . The theory was dogs were never meant to eat from bowls and especially if the bowl was the wrong shape which is more likely in big breeds which need bigger bowls that they have to take in more air when they eat than they do if they eat it off the ground. So the suggestion was that you place the food on the ground so the dog could eat as it had evolved.
  12. Just reminding you all to call into the Pacers Fundraising forum here as we are putting a heap of things up in there this week including Canine Snake bite kits - even though you wont be thinking about them for a few months and also to keep an eye on our Ebay store
  13. The only way we got purebred dogs in the first place is by in breeding - its what we do. You cant breed in problems that arent there by close breeding they have to be there in the first place and in breeding can be a great tool for ensuring you get great dogs if the person doing it does so with knowledge.
  14. Gumpette Im so glad you won that raffle! Is it O.K. If I use some of your photos?
  15. As long as you have had the stud dog tested and have proof that his sperm is still O.K. for what its worth here is my advice. Put the girl on some board certified Aloe Vera juice . If you tell me her weight Ill tell you how much how often. When she comes on heat put the boy on board certified Aloe Vera too.
  16. Anyone who is thinking of taking this dog on needs to know that he is dominant and entire and not an easy foster placement. If he hadnt of gone with Vic's friend we were going to have no choice but to put him into a boarding kennel.
  17. Vic should be in a position now to easily cover any boarding fees required.
  18. We have about done all we can do. Vics stuff and cars are in storage and her dogs are sorted. Pacers took a pretty big hit financially and even though lots of dogz people have been very generous we didnt cover what we needed to pay out to get her out of trouble and its going to take a minute to re coup. The important thing is that all the dogs are all under control and Vic is less stressed. We achieved our goal.
  19. No email here re postage to England. Do you one?
  20. Thats O.K. Just place the orders and we will tick them off as they are paid. Julie
