  1. we'll be here for every step Jed, forwards or backwards, you just take all the time you need and know we are with you in spirit.(...or is that spirits given the alcohol passing round the waiting room? ) So lovely to see pics of the pups and hear they are doing so well, Boo, Luna and Atticus send Cavalier and Dane kisses for them all. Time to light another candle
  2. My mother-in-law-to-be is an amazing quilt maker, she's made us two gorgeous quilts as gifts and she's coming over from America in October this year for a visit and to attend a big quilt show/fair. I'll see if she can help, maybe people in Brisbane could come along to the quilt show or we could spend a day with her helping those of us that lack skills If nothing else I could get her to see if she can get Cavalier or Boxer fabric - the range of fabric in the US is huge compared to here!
  3. That's a shame. The dogs needs are no different. actually they are - dogs in the pound are facing being put down in most cases - their need is quite often far greater and far more immediate. Many rescues take private surrenders when able and dependant on the individual situation but in a straight out comparison between a dog that has an owner there that can take responsibility and a dog in a pound facing a count down to death, it is no contest who has the greater need.
  4. sounds like a load of carefully constructed data set up to support useless hogwash while ignoring the big fat holes made by obvious variables that have failed to be accounted for. YAY SCIENCE!
  5. asshats - I hope others can help with gathering the info - I have no idea where to start looking for NSW stuff Hop it can be sorted quickly, Steve.

  14. good on you Hes, Kyla/Kyla's Dad I can only imagine how devestating it must be from the footage, in person it would just be so awful especially to those that are close with Jane and her family
  15. was really hoping to hear Magnus had been found huge and to all the people helping Jane, I'm trying to organise to collect monetary donations to Jane/PACERS at Gold Coast CC shows on Sunday, still waiting to hear back on whether this is possible. I'm sure I'm not the only one who hugged their doggies extra last night and this morning, so many little paws across the bridge

  20. hello again I have no pics we've just moved and I can't find the damn camera! I survived my first show an open followed by a champ show, some nice comments and two wonderful judges who were very understanding and helpful. I didn't fall over and Atticus didn't pee or poop in the ring - could not have asked for more
  21. Huge, huge congrats! Must be a wonderful feeling I'm thrilled for you!
  22. yeah I figured, I just mean't I'd done similar :D Cripes, two pages of questions? I thought I'd written a heap but nothing compaired to that!
  23. I did that, though I didn't expect everyone to reply, was surprised when so few did though now that I think on it - I wonder if most thought it was a dodgy enquirey just based on the amount of people I'd emailed at once? lucky for me there were really great people who got in touch and saw my HUGE email full of info and questions for what it was - a puppy buyer who gave a crap but was just a bit new to how to go about finding the right breeder No shame in that, and certainly not an idication of how much of a life I have I did "buy something" though, and I made damn sure that once I started talking seriously with one breeder (though not at the stage of having been approved) I let the few others know so they were in the loop. I'd done all my breed research and was looking for the right breeder, not the breeder with a pup right that second and I think I made that clear. Perhaps that is tirekicking to some Personally I emailed over phoning because I hate catching people in the middle of something - an email means a person has time to reply at their lesuire...or not The breeder I got a pup from had replied to my email with a phone number and suitable times to call and discuss, which was a relief!
  24. it's almost like a dol meet right? I think it's fair to say bringing Krispy kremes is totally justified!!!
  25. Cavalier and a Dane pup here if needed Will PM you now!
