nice helen Akira looks relieved to be out of the bath, and psyching herself up to go to get dirty again huga - love your new/old house! Lola seems to suit it perfectly tlc - Cooper's looking super cool on his holiday 34/52 - this was actually taken Monday ... been really struggling to get my act together this week ... took about a kazillion photos and this was the best (?) I could get of Jamie? ... something wrong with my style ... oh and need to go without Lotus the labrador who takes up all the lens time at the beach (as if, Lotus is so much fun at the beach )

33/52 - Jamie turned 13 years old on Saturday, this was taken after a little ball retrieving fun at the park

I've made it a challenge this year to try and get one a month of the 4 pack together, I'm pretty sure I've done more but anyway, here's a few favs: one of the first I tried with Lotus as a new member ... I really love this inpromptu one ... 4 in the corner ... another undeliberate ... the fruiting dogwood tree at my parent's place recently ... and most recently for Chester's birthday, none looking pleased, but I maintain they're just listening intently for the magic words

thanks too easy, they sit and wait for dinner every night ... I really didn't make it too painfully long a wait for them though, I've been accused of cruelty for such behaviour ... I used to be able to walk in the house and make a coffee while they sat and waited infront of their dinners for the "magic words" ... with the older ones going deaf though, they can't hear the cue to wait or eat which has confused things in the past year, my hand signals are all over the place and they cue off the oddest things you just don't expect, so I can't do that anymore tlc: I reckon Jamie and Texas look like the hats are too heavy ;) whereas Chester and Lotus are young and proud to hold their heads up with the silly hats on lol Birthday boy enjoying his treat ;) eta: Horus, yes

speaking of how fast they are, I read in a newspaper article recently about how there's a whippet that raced a racing greyhound and beat it, tried to remember the name of the guy but it's now escaped me, kept meaning to mention it earlier ah a quick google and I found the article: Turbo
