Clicking Mad

Hey, I met up with my working dog of about 5 years Paige, yesterday. Paige's been retired for about 6mths now and is with a friend and colleague, and retired working dog Ned. I gotta say I was a little surprised and put-out by her total lack of recognition for most of the visit. She just showed zero sign of knowing who I was. The initial reunion was barely a sniff, and then off to sniff my yard. She did get back around to sniffing me up and down, yet still nothing to suggest she knew who I was. We went down to the river to let them have a run and swim, all done with enthusiasm etc. but still nothing. Then finally I was asking her to drop the ball for another throw and something clicked. It was like: "oh it's you!" followed by jumping up all over me and a big happy tail wag I lent my friend my 400D and she caught this (my edit) *** a few of my shots from the visit :D the 3 happy retirees ... that's Lotus in the air and now Paige and Ned taking it gently Lotus and Paige ... oops nope that's Paige infront Lotus :D I always overdo the number of photos, sorry

well, iltby's Lily ... and unknown named great danes and unknown named black park dog I have a jack russell pic too somewhere thanks DD

Wow Helen, Bella looks great in that shot! huga whiskedaway ... so cute! she reminds me of the "Snow Dogs" movie when he first visits the house and the dogs come from all over **** 27/52 - since we all went on holiday this week, I figured it was about time I did a 4 pack shot ... supposed to be Jamie's weekly shot and she's the one not looking ha! :D

thanks Ripley, I don't have the right trees in my area to be able to take these kind of autumn leaf photos so took the opportunity thanks ABC and bec **** I still have loads more :D Bonnie, my parent's dog guarding the door another one of Texas with the pretty foliage colours and another one of Lotus in the pretty foliage colours ... sorry they're getting a little repetitive and boring :D oh look, here we go, some action at a local park I found Lotus at full speed! and retrieving, her favourite thing to do! (besides supervising the making of dinner ) and Chester looking to take off and play chaseys with another dog we came across and last one for tonight ... dad walking Bonnie home from a walk ***** I met up with Horus and spotty yesterday too, but only got home tonight and haven't looked at the pics yet ...

yes, it was still hanging out at my parents atm so more photos coming ... thanks, was great to meet you too :D Yes, when in Melbourne you must give me a bell **** hanging out at my parents consists of: a lot more green and foliage than we're used to seeing ;) Bonnie rolling around in the grass Chester posing in the autumn leaves and Lotus and Jamie and Texas, though Lotus thought she was supposed to be in shot too more posing from Chester in front of the brick corner wall last one of the colourful foliage posing ;)

Thanks tlc, week 26 (my first week) I know these photos are totally over edited.... I down loaded a trail of Light room and have to see if I can learn how to use it in 30 days..... ;) Nandi Ringo nice Tokkie! Nandi is very cute! Look forward to Ringo's and her (?) weekly pic :D Lightroom is great! I'm at my parent's at the moment and got them to download the 30day trial of lightroom3 for me while I am here (I only have LR2 at home), and I'm going crazy with all the extra presets :D ... talk about getting carried away Evolving: great action shot!

Lotus was her usual silly self running around, sometimes after nothing cooling her belly down Chester found a tree to climb and just a quick pic of our host Bonnie (my parent's dog) ... oh and I see Texas as a blur in the background

an early one for me this week 26/52 - used the opportunity for a different backdrop ... the dogs' red blanket drying on the line and showing a typically intense Jamie pose I'm loving Texas photos atm ... so here's his version of the shoot and I guess I can't go past Chester's classic expressions either and with the real intensity of the red ... I didn't do Lotus for some reason, she was hanging around, just didn't get a chance infront of the camera?
