Why is it when you enter your first trial everything starts going pearshaped. I was determined that this wasn't going to happen this time BUT IT HAS so do I....... train every night and try and fix all the broken bits which is a bit like a seam unravelling at the moment OR open another bottle of red wine and just watch videos of training rounds when everything was sweet

OK I have myself a bobcat man and a 12m bin - all booked for Wednesday morning - so armed with a shovel I will be following him around

I live in Southern River in the kennel area and yes you definitely need to mow before the puppy comes home - not long now

can't help with a bobcat but what about a skip bin or you need the bobcat to pick up the rbbish?? i got a Tyler not sure how good he is at tiling though rof There are large concrete blocks and sheets of fencing that need to be taken away, as well as bricks, slabs and tree prunings. I have dragged a lot of it to make a pile, but after my run in yesterday with the snake i am reluctant to pick anything else up. Yep call me paranoid

Can anybody recommend a bobcat man with a truck that does rubbish removal? I am not having much luck going through the local rag. oh and while we are on the tradesman lookout - I also need a tiler if anybody has a good one for a small job.

Mirawee - that photo is beautiful :p I got a BIG fright this morning. I was gardening in the house yard - pick up a piece of wood and under neath was a duigite. I cover 30m in near record time with all the kids in hot pursuit. The snake is no longer with us - but I am staying with mum for a few days waiting for my heartrate to return to normal. The grey hairs will be with me forever

Rubystar you have every right to be proud of you girls - both of them were terrific I promise not to tell anybody about the rocky road and the cake that was shared at the obedience trial Crazycresties - I would like to hear more about the reative rover class - when you get a spare moment Valley CBR - sending BIG hugs your way I am wondering if the show judge on Saturday has been reading this thread - she asked me if I did doggy dancing with Soggy Bear and NO Bedazzled I don't want a sparkley top - thank you ;) Bedazzled and I are off to Adelaide tomorrow - we will send updates if we can

Gees I don't log on for 3 days and there are pages and pages of brags. Well done to Weibrilly on your Track 3 pass, Seita on your FIRST Ud pass (they are special ), Xena 98 on your Royal Show wins (they are special too) and Rubystar on your 197 win - which I got to see - your handling was lovely - well done mate. Cider survived another show ring experience and made the judge smile - she even asked me if we did doggy dancing - hmm not sure if that was because she pranced her way around the ring or not and NO Bedazzled I don't was a sparkley top thank you Beans came out and had 4 clear rounds out of 4 on Saturday and can now add the title of excellent snooker to her list of achievements she can do with no skills whatsoever ;) and she also managed 3rd place Lexi went clear in excellent gamblers and excellent snooker and Scoota was a good boy in masters snooker, and a semi good boy in obedience the following day

You get your chance in 3 weeks time When and where Ptolomy??? Obedience trial at Bunbury?? If its the Sunday - I will be working . Grrrrrr!!! Will you be around K9 on the 12th? Yes it is the obedience trial at Bunbury on Sunday the 19th - which usually goes for most of the day. If there is agility or obedience on at K9 on the 12th then I will be there - otherwise nope sorry. Off home now its been an eventful day with 2 evacuations due to smoke and a burning smell for an hour each time, can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring

Strauss is going very cheaply at the moment - I got home yesterday and all the dogs were soaked - I said hello from a distance and watched what was happening - he would pick up a retrieving bumper and take off around the back yard doing zoomies and the others, including the old girl would chase him. I can add rain to the things that don't bother him As for taking things - yep I lost my hairbrush, shampoo and a towel from the bathroom this morning - blink and they were gone - bless him NOT. The one downside to him getting bigger is that he now has a bigger reach Zumba - hmm the mind would like to do it - the body is still recovering from a weekend of rennovations - think I will pass this week :D
