  1. It was ACWA's AGM so we trained earlier than normal. Unforuntately that will be our last Tuesday undercover session as next Tuesday we will both be in Adelaide for a few days. But do come up and say hi if you see us again and introduce us to your pigheaded girl. I think we all have sessions like you must have had last night so we all know where you are coming from - hang in there - and if things don't improve - red wine helps
  2. That's why I suggested Amypie ask you - you have every method downpat and lots of experience
  3. I heard a rumour that the little black number has some awesome heelwork happening Amypie speak to Rubystar about teaching a SFE
  4. Well done on the impressive show results over the weekend and even I was taken with the baby whippet photos Just sorry I missed catching up with everybody. Must have been the day for zoomies - mine were crazy when i got home from work yesterday. Bedazzled and I will be training tonight - so wave to us as you drive past
  5. Thank you thank you thank you you looked beautiful ;) ;) The only thing missing was your agility shoes. I promise next time i will give you a little more warning. Soggy loves being with you because you give her way more treats than I do Thanks to Rach for entertaining Strauss Mouse yesterday.
  6. Another broken exercise - so far you have had seekback, box, scent and now signals - hate to tell you that just leaves GLOVES Best of luck tomorrow night.
  7. Any suggestions on how to get the Occassionallty Clever one to run straight to the box - and not via the Cape of Good Hope? I have been blowing his mind with proofing around food and this has been the fall out.
  8. Good luck Sue and Cindy and SBT 303 - looking forward to checking in on Monday to find out how you got on.
  9. Bedazzled is onto the WC case - after she raised the issue at the AGM on Wednesday - goodonya mate - you have my full support and if I can help - then let me know - I can look pretty tall when I stand on my tippy toes and I have a very loud voice when I need to use it
  10. Hugs to you and your family even though you know you are making the right decision - it is never easy Let me know if you would rather not trot around with Soggy.
  11. Soggy was measured last weekend - I was given a measuring stick to practice with at home - to get her used to it - it didn't really help, well maybe it did - she did stand relatively still but the look on her face said I beat her every day with it
  12. My little Norweign boy came out of Quarantine last Friday. I had to apply for the import permit look at the AQIS website) - you need certain things to apply eg microchip number, dogs DOB and name, exporters and importers address. Best if you apply on line as they seem to process the documents quite quickly. You also have to sign a form that basically says if the dog needs vet treatment while in quarantine you give your approval. I missed a few things on my initial application, so they emailed me as asked me to supply the info and it was approved in a couple of days. I actually booked the pup into Quarantine when he was a few days old. They took my booking despite not having a plane booking. Later on - in fact when he was 10 weeks of age I had to alter my booking by a couple of days because the airline only flew out of OSLO on Mondays and Wednesdays, but it wasn't a problem. I had a guy in Norway do all the bookings for me, we arranged for an overnight stop in Singapore (which has top rate Quarantine facilities) because the pup can only arrive during certain hours in Perth - this worked well. They also fed the pup with food taped to the top of his crate. I heard on the grapevine that the Government is looking at changing the importing requirements from category 2 countries to include only 5 days in quarantine - not holding my breath!
  13. The oldies are so special. I have to say, I think you are doing the right thing not doing the biopsy and operating. Big hugs to Lilli and you too valley CBR ;) Gees Xolo - I can't imagine you being a grandmother :D I still think of you being 15! Fingers crossed for puppies next time around.
  14. I am looking at having to snake proof this year - do I need to use both the rodent wire + netting - or is the bird netting enough?
  15. We can do a swapsies - Cider pats for Ari pats and looking at teeth
  16. Great stuff RubyStar Rubystar should be mighty proud of herself - her kids both worked well on the weekend and she is one very neat tidy handler. Novice handlers could learn a lot from watching her take a bow Rubystar
  17. Sure is worthy of a brag - well done and nothing like being brought back to earth with a thud by your other child :D
  18. and you got to work Soggy Bear which was just stunning to watch
  19. Hey just wanted to say thanks to everybody for a lovely day on Sunday - the lemon cake and chocolate bickies were scrumptious. Hey and Rubystars bickies on saturday were to die for Strauss had a lovely day yesterday. Think we all agree that he is one very confident little man with no obvious hangups. The photos ValleyCBR took of Strauss and Soggy were lovely. Just trying to work out how to make them smaller so that i can send them to Strauss's breeder in Norway. I have discovered that strauss loves gardening. Yep I put the weeds into the garden bag and he pulls them out - its a great game. And his favourite toy is the dustpan A couple of congrats - to Bedazzled and Rubystar for the efforts in obedience on Saturday and to Zoe, Iain and River for winning restricted at retrieving yesterday giving Riv (Lexi's brother) his NRD title.
  20. Yes I do plan on doing another bulk i-squeak order in September/October.
  21. Apparently they only culled one goat this week - Zoe is picking up the goat bones on her way down to me tomorrow. Its a case of ringing each day and if they have goat racing in and buying what they have. Zoe is coming down tomorrow and is bringing her camera. The poor boy is going to be a bit inundated - he will come home to find 8 dogs at home - after being in solitary confinement for 30 days - I hope this doesn't do his head in.
  22. I am like a kid waiting for Xmas - I don't know how many times I have looked at my watch today and the time seems to be going so slowly. 9am tomorrow and I am going to be one very happy vegemite. I also have a new washing machine and air conditioner arriving tomorrow - they say good things happen in threes
  23. Dinner Lol I bought Mason some dried goat treats today From A&D??
  24. Why do you want to paint weave poles - all our competition ones are white?
