I thought i had replyed to this post ;) gremlins got it no doubt) . I made a tempory barricade /fence from good old bunning compost bin panels ;turn them on thier bottoms to get better hieght ,attatch to star posts with ties .

If bubs sucking reflex is weak ,then put her on mum every 2hrs without compotition from rest of the litter <also support under chin as she suckles <make sure she dosnt chill ot tire from trying to hard > I swear by nutra drops, rather than nutra gel <(if u can get it in the uk im not sure )

could be either ,mentioned by op ,if she continues to p a lot ,vet check for uti . keep a close eye on her for signs of swelling ,change in behaviour ect .,

If u have clavalox antibiotics start yr bitch on them now hot & cold compresses also work well on the effected gland ,DO keep the pups on the other boobs if they r not affected ,or as suggested if u cant get Forula get some goats milk from supermarket . AND FIND another vet asap .good luck

have u tried beefliver t ?? is pupwarm enough do not let him chill . Beef liver recipe is..... boil a piece of beef liver till the blood runs out ,strain liquid & fed to pup(an eYe droper works well for this ) 4drops every 2hrs for 12 hrs ,then every 4 hrs until pup is thriving.

Why do u think they have puppies in the windows of so called pet shops ??????? so suckers like u will inpulse buy ,knowing NOTHING of the background of yr sweet little bundle For doGs sake go to a reputable registared breeder ,meet the parents ,& have breeder support . NO reputable breeder would sell to a *pet shop* PET shop..... means People EasiallyTempted. registared breeders r bound by code of ethics not to sell to *pet *shops. A lot depends on the bitch in Question,If she has whelped b4 & copes ok I leave her to it ,but with all whelps I tear the sack from babies face ,once it is fully delivered & mum has severed cord ,(if she dosnt then i do )whilst she is busy cleaning her self & eating after birth ,which I ALWAYS watch for ) I stimulate the baby ,wipe mucus from nose & mouth ,check for cleft pallet ,hen return bub to mum ,my bubs stay in the whelping box with mum (but in a separate area ) as each new bub arrives ,in between deliverys all bubs r sucking on mum, which helps with contraction as does eating after births .

changing formulas all the time ,will cause tummy upsets ,is mum still unable to feed ? I hand raised a litter of 12 feeding with eye dropper ,When mum recovered from mas I put bubs back on her & continued to supp feed biolac ,I have since learned Goats milk if far better ,(but im not suggesting u change formulars again) (I also added yougurt, with aphidoficus in it to the formular)If these pupsr coming up for 3 weeks of age ,I personally would be weaning them on to sloopy solids adding a little yogurt to each mushy feed . Or Alternativley milk mum & feed her milk to bubs. Warmth is Of upmost inportance for sick babies & as suggested by op, hot water bottols (COVERED) seem to ese tummy pains . I would say thank your lucky stars they returned the pup to u ,some peole r just not cut out for the dedication needed to settle a new pup . think people like that should buy a bloody gold fish !!

Try serving her food @ room temp ,adding a little vegimite to hot water (cooling b4 serving )over her favorite kibble ,or chicken broth made from chicken you have cooked for her ,Also try tuna or salmon in vegie oil if she dosnt like sardines
