Just promise not to laugh??!!! His first show will be the annual Bernese Club of SA specialty on 10th July (perfect timing for us! He turns 3 months the week before) and then I'm sure we'll be out at SACA soon after that for anyone who wants to come say hi. First few nights have gone well, he woke us up once at 4.30am his first night, took him out to toilet then straight back to bed (wish I'd discovered crate training years ago now!) and last night he slept right through! Will add some more pics soon, have got some great smiling ones! :D Since when is there an Annual Bernese Club Of SA specialty???? My babies will be hilarious with him they will be big donkey-sauruses as they will be 5 months and 3 1/2 weeks and still in baby hahahaaha. hope I make it to that show (I havent even seen a schedule for it) as I am expecting Berner babies around then. My vet says 24 days after ovulation, I have had them done about day 30 usually. 24-30 they are big enough to see but small enough to count. A friend did a positive U/S at day 17 once??!! She is a vet nurse and was deaperate to know

I think its rare *ish to have a wrong pregnancy ultrasound. Mine have all been pretty accurate....empty, empty, empty, 5-6 she had 7, empty, 6-8 she had 8 (these were done on 4 different girls, only 1 has every gotten pregnant )

I have been considering a purchase from DWI for a while, but I have been wondering about the customs duty, and if id have to pay it. Do they do a dodgy on the invoice with the value of the items? I've been reading some threads and some people have had bad experiences with DWI and Im now im really hesitant to buy from them. They have the 7D for $1545 currently, but I can get a non grey import one, from a local retail shop for $1898, with the canon warranty. Im probably going to go the local seller, unless DWI's price falls a fair bit more. I got my 7D from DWI in Nov or Dec last year and it was about $1365 plus postage. I didnt pay any duties

I didnt buy it all at once, its been since about November last year but, yeh since I have no idea I am pretty terrified haha. Its been such crappy weather here too that I havent been able to practice much. I got some great stacked show pics with my 7d and 70-200mm at a specialty in melbourne in May but didnt have time to fiddle to get good moving shots I just opened it up to 2.8 and hoped for the best

I am super impressed with DWI, I have bought a Canon 7d, Canon 50mm 1.4, Canon 70-200mm 2.8 and this week I got a Tamron 28-75mm 2.8 and it took 3 days to arrive! All have been great and super fast (just how I like my parcels!!!) I got a tripod from Digirev on ebay and I think that came fairly promptly with free postage (equally super!) I bought the Tamron this week after reading a ton of reviews for Tamron vs Sigma lens and although the Tamron is about half the price of the Sigma it gets a really good review and the sharpness is aparrently better than the Sigma (Im too poor to get the Canon this time I had a little play with my Tamron last night - it came yesterday -and it seems pretty good!) Anyone else tried this lens?

(I used to feel like that too then I realised I was paranoid ) my first show someones dog pee'd on my show pants before I wnet in (while I was wearing them!!!! and I Had to wear jeans, after that I made my husband show for the next 6 months or so cos i was so horrified :p ) aaaand if the worst thing someone could say about your girl is that her tan is washed out then thats great people can never just be nice they always have to make some shitty comment! p.s her tan looked fine to me and like I said to you berner tan darkens with age. I really like your girl, at least she stood still unlike my ferals anytime you want help with handling tips everyone in our united nations tent loves giving directions :D

Embarrassingly I have the magic Lantern book. We did the shots on AV at f3.2 ISO 100 they look good. Tomorrow I will have a crack at other breeds and practice, today I was a bot late cos the babies ran on the wet grass and I had to re-dry them . I agree with this Dancinbcs but I usually wouldnt accept money until after 6 weeks ish incase the whole litter have some freak health problem and die (just paranoia, I know it's really not likely and I know he has still done his job and produced the litter but I would feel to bad to accept any money if no live pups left )

Hey Y'all I have my first show tomorrow with my 7d and 70-200mm 2.8f IS lens. Whats the best setting to have the camera on for great show pics? It is an outside show should be a nice day. I am aiming for stacked and moving. I have read various things, some say have the TV on more than 1/640 for action, others say have it on AV and open the lens up as wide as possible or one stop down. Any hints would be appreciated its my babies first shows and I want to set the camera right. Thanks in advance :D
