  1. Are they in Australia Jessca? I own a Ridgeback, would love a Malinois (soon!) and will one day own another Kelpie Unfortunatly no, they don't :-(
  2. I love my dobies, but I've always wanted a beauceron. But would love a malinois or gsd. And am hopefully getting a gsd puppy in a couple of months!!!!
  3. I have seen Dobieman once! Some people are just so silly, I got asked once if Zoltan (Dobermann) was an Alsatian (oh and please excuse spelling if thats not how you spell it )
  4. I can't thank you all enough. You have just saved me from making a huge mistake in buying a crewman. Thank you Dyzney : I'm so sorry that you've had so mant problems with it Thank you once again, you can always count on DOLers
  5. Thanks every one. Rottylover01: It would be a V6 crewman and Hilux. I am aiming for turbo diesel, 2wd. Age wise both would be 2005 or newer. Gilypoo: Didn't think of that, thanks. Ashley: thats the main reason I am debating between the two, fuel. I knew they drank a bit but i didn't realise it was that bad. Thank you again every one. I think It'll be a Hilux now to find one....
  6. I'll go you halves Nek I was mean't to be buying a car to fit the two boys I already have but meh
  7. Hi DOLers, I need to get a bigger car for the boys (love my little corolla but its just too small). I have ruled it down to either a manual; crewman or Hilux (2005 or newer). But cannot decide between the two. Any help would be greatly appreciated in regards to size, fuel consumption, driving, and personal preference (and why). I have two dobies, and plan to have a cage built in the back under the canopy. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Jessca
  8. I dont know much about it, but cengage run a pet training course via DL. And I highly recommend NDTF.
  9. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I send you the first two Through specialist canines?? Sorry if I have you confused with someone else
  10. Was wondering if anyone had Ivan Balabanov's Obedience without Conflict DVD # 3 and 4 : "The Retrieve" and "The Motion Exercises, Recall and Send-Away" that I could buy or borrow please. It's a long shot, but worth a try.
  11. I have a few friends who use these. I've found they are heavier, louder and less effective compared to the traditional prong. But work great for a dog who is softer, or is weaning off a prong.(personal opinion). They also don't look like a prong so can be worn in public and 90% of people just think its a fancy martingale If anyone would like to know of a supplier in Adelaide(not sure who Ruthless recommended) please PM me
  12. Got my i-squeaks today!!! and just left you positive feed back Feedback link ( i hope the link works) THANK YOU PTOLOMY!!!
  13. I am happy to help sort out a state order, if that makes things easier and can save people on postage. Or can have people pick them up from KCC when there are trials/shows ect on
  14. There is a new system in place, where all new members have to be verified. So once an admin has verified your membership you will be able to start new topics and reply to old ones.
  15. Trying to find a good dobe these days is getting very hard, unfortunately.
  16. I really wanted to go But I can't afford it.
  17. I highly recommend you join specialist canines. Start a thread up in there and people should be able to help you out. There are lots of sec dog handlers and trainers as well as working dog breeders.
  18. I have not seen how big the large ones are. I would have thought that a medium would be OK for a dobe. Let me know if yuo want to change to 1 large and 1 small to cover all bases. that would be good thanks. Can I please have 1 large and 1 medium. Thanks
  19. 2 large's please. Would large be suited to a Dobie?? I have never seen one before. Thanks Ptolomy
  20. Kaiser would definatly have to be balls. Either basketball - Or soccer, but showing a clear favourite towards leather soccer (preferably the really expensive ones ) As for Zoltan he loves balls, but they have to be deflated and in a million pieces. That's his favourite thing, destroying balls. We had about 5 soccer balls before we got him, most around 2 or 3 years old. But he loves anything he can bite, chew or tug with, although he is the sort of dog who would rather be with me than play, unlike Kaiser.
  21. I'm gathering the city of Wyndham is a suburban council. Because if our council (Cardinia) did that I'd have to fence off our 50m property front and 40m back (where we have a fire break as we back onto a forest).
  22. Hmm am looking into an X-trail now too Would they fit two roughly 107cm crates?? If they do, now I'm going to have to decide between a Navara, Hilux or X-Trail :D
