  1. Reggie ripped her stitches out while still at the vet. They kept her over night as a result and she wore an Ecollar for the week after when ever I couldnt watch her. She didn't have to wear it the second week. The vet didn't charge me any extra for the collar or for the overnight stay. It was all included in the original spay price $375. I did have to do several duct tape repairs to it over the week
  2. I imagine you could wash them just before you reapply it at the end of a fortnight. :)
  3. The Lost Dogs of Adelaide link is broken. You'll need to open the page and copy and paste from the address bar. The forums shorten the link so copying and pasting from posts doesn't always work.
  4. Good idea Lost Dogs of Adelaide http://www.facebook.com/adelaidedogs?fref=ts
  5. I have a 10m puppy nylon long line from k9 pro. I've used it at the beach and am glad I went wih 10m. I do recommend using it with a harness. I've had far fewer tangles since I got a harness for reggie :)
  6. Reggie barks in her sleep sometimes, but I've never heard her howl, asleep or awake. It so cute when she does is. All muffled barking through her lips :)
  7. It's possible it's just a photocopy of both parents pedigrees on the one sheet. Not for a full sibling.
  8. I think there was a thread on here some time ago. Everyone was in a frenzy buying those electrostatic brooms from Bunnings
  9. When I was looking for a kitten 7ish years ago, I went into a pet shop and asked about their kittens. Told me they were $600. I said "Oh really? What breed are they?" The guy looked a little sheepish and said "err.. Mixed Domestic Shorthairs..." So I went to the AWL and got a gorgeous little Moggie for $75 Desexed and Chipped. (Was looking in a pet shop because this is before I became educated )
  10. Someone told me their dog was Blue Heeler cross Red Heeler
  11. Yes, it seems they add a weight charge if you are not in one of the above areas. Anything I add to my cart is $6.50 regardless of how much it weighs.
  12. Ahh right, $6.50 flat rate is Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide only. They also have $8.00 Flat Rate Shipping to Canberra, Gosford, Newcastle and Wollongong $8.65 Flat Rate Shipping to Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast So depends if you're in one of their regular delivery areas or not I guess.
  13. I think I paid about $6.50 or something for postage at PFL so not sure how postage elsewhere can be $10 less.. Unless Im remebering wrong :)
  14. I work on building sites, and one supervisor insists I bring Reggie to work whenever I have one of his jobs. Says it always makes his day and turns a horrible day into a good one even if he only gets to play with her for 5 or 10 minutes. I don't see anything wrong with that.
  15. I use them. Happy with their service. Postage over here in Adelaide postage can take 2-4 Days Also Had an issue with one order when I added worming treatment to an existing order and they didn't send them together, wanted to charge me shipping again. However it was very quickly resolved through email and they posted the worming tablets free. Have used them since, and will continue to do so. :)
  16. Rottweiler, Dalmation, ?, Husky, Afgahn Border Collie, Poodle, Bernese Mountain Dog Pug, ?, Bullmastiff Papillon, Schnauzer, Dobermann haha fun Edited for spelling
  17. Surely there couldn't be another lot? I hope not, but trying to remember what he said I think he said they were advertised as Aussie's crossed with something. I'll have to ask him next time I see him..
  18. Someone at the park yesterday told me they saw Aussies in the Pet shop... I wonder if they meant these ones..
  19. You are certainly not alone http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/243309-doggy-christmas-2012/
  20. Great Videos! While we are in a slow motion mood
  21. I wonder if they think a chocolate tri is a choc BC with red points from the Red parent. Misunderstanding colour genetics would be cute if it wasn't so worrying
  22. Haha I didn't even notice that I don't know of a good link for the Red to Red thing either http://www.bryningbo...-Collie-Colours this is all I can find and its a lot of information and might be a bit overwhelming. The ee Red issue is only briefly mentioned. and only mentions breeding Red to Merle.. not Red to Red, which has exactly the same issue.
  23. on being nice, I've just posted the same thread to a friend of mine too. It's hard to get the information out if you just throw it at them like they are the devil incarnate particularly when they are such nice people :)
