I think the nurse would tell you make an appointment if she thought it worrisome. We're up at the vet quite a bit as Malcolm has Addison's Disease so I show them anything suspicious. He's had the odd sebaceous cyst—pimples!—on his face. The last one they measured and said to keep an eye on it and if I grew or started to look "angry" come back in. So far they've all gone away of their own accord. I'm also monitoring a couple of freckles in case they go bad.

I checked out the Kickstarter and their website and ran through the start of the process. It was quite simple. They ship internationally so there's no need for a forwarding company, and shipping costs are including in the Kickstarter. The cost looks reasonable to me for a quality, custom, made-to-measure muzzle. This isn't your plastic pet shop number. I won't buy one; I'd prefer a custom collar and wouldn't use it anywhere near enough, but can still admire from afar!

No idea about the rest, but I've been told by a vet nurse that they usually can't purchase let alone sell medications for the sorts of prices found online. Tell your friend to purchase from an Australian pharmacy as they may otherwise accidentally break the law and/or get the medication confiscated. The vet may charge a script writing fee as there's some work involved. That's pretty standard.

Ndtf Block 1 Review.
Papillon Kisses replied to Just Midol's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I studied with NDTF circa 2006, but given that they still advertise themselves as being "balanced" which is code for using +punishment I would say so. I would recommend studying with Delta and/or CASI then doing continued professional development from there. NB professional experience is required for CASI. -
Would you get a second opinion now or???

He's happier now and that's what matters. -
Here's the other thread I mentioned FYI. https://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/268033-dog-breed-selectors/#comment-6861714

Papillon Kisses replied to Timbs's topic in General Dog Discussion
I am inclined to agree, but I have met some sweetheart female Goldens. Hmmm... -

There was a thread about different selectors a while back. I found one was a lot more accurate than the others, but other posters thought otherwise! I agree with Bushriver that you'd probably be best to ask here.

Non-service dogs are banned on NSW trains. They are permitted only on one or two ferry services and on buses at the driver's discretion, which translates to rarely at all. If putting a muzzle on a dog enables a person without a car to take their dog to the vet etc themselves instead of relying on the generosity and availablility of others, then that is a very good thing. When properly conditioned, dogs don't care about the muzzle on their face, it's just us humans that have hangups. Muzzles also protect dogs from the actions of others.

Thinking of you.

You might like to look up the Muzzle Up Project. https://muzzleupproject.com/ Another option would be to 'own it' and decorate the muzzle! https://muzzleupproject.com/category/muzzle-art/ For some reason I'm thinking superhero print for your dog. You know, being happy to wear a muzzle is a good skill to have anyway as you never know when your dog may have a serious injury and need it to stay safe. (Pain can cause even the most docile dog to lash out). It's on the list of things I want to do with my dog if I can work out what sort/size muzzle would fit him!!

Dog boarding or sitter in Adelaide?
Papillon Kisses replied to poochiemama's topic in General Dog Discussion
You could see if any of these trainers house sit or can provide some recommendations: http://www.rspcasa.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Force-Free-Trainers-List-February-2017-updated-V21.pdf -
You may like to speak to you vet about Canine Cognitive Dysfunction (dementia). CCD is treatable both medically and behaviourally, but as not all vets realise this you should see another if yours is not across it. Potential symptoms seen in your post: - pacing/running around - confusion - changes in toileting behaviour; if other causes have been ruled out perhaps it is behavioural?

Saw the vet today as Mal's eyes are weird (turns out he needs to see a specialist ). She got a little more of it off but said to try to keep peeling it off. -
Filta-bac Removal

Yikes, this has been weeks! -
Is there a way to get Filta-bac OFF a dog? It looks and feels gross, and also seems like it's making some fur fall off or something. Instructions say to wash with soapy water but that hasn't worked.
