i might be bringing my little bitsa soon so join us! i work in a kennels all i do all day is play with oodles hahaha i would love to meet some calm well behaved ones for a change!! come alone who cares what breed ur dogs are! the tree one is great Love em all CM, great idea to get one shot a month. I try to get one whenever I am able. Mine are used to lining up they seem to do it with out me even realizing sometimes they know there will usually be a treat in it for them! One of the challenges last year was a set your own and mine was to get one of my lot together everyday for a month with no leads and always in a different spot. It certainly was a challenge!!

Huga, love the background in your first shot it is awesome! also love the bums in the sand and gorgeous kids shots. FHRP, your first shot made me go awwwwwww, fab shots!! Leigh, your little pack look like a bunch of cuties!! MM, Mav and Hector look totally adorable, they have very thoughtful expressions on thier faces! Satchmo and Ava look like they might be scamming for a treat in that pic sweet little faces!!

Oh I love Kepala, I am a little way away (3 hours) and I have never been due to the whole "we will stick out like a sore toe" you know the oodle thing!! My lot would love it especially Cooper he is Mr sociable! We have been a couple of times with our own kind Now I gotta go to work!

Arghhhh I have to go to work now but Ill be back later to hopefully lots more shots to look at!!

Lovely, I did not realize pointers were so tall! Look at little Shaun so cute!

The seats in my new (second hand ) car are leather and I just use a back seat buddy and then a blanket. I am lucky mine is a wagon so if the digs are wet or dirty they just go in the back. I got my back seat protector from the reject shop for $12 you can get them to cover the whole seat from auto barn or super cheap auto.

Thanks for the wrap tez, It is hard sometimes to think about new stuff to do so it keeps everyone moving and not bored! I should be doing a lesson plan the night before to be honest I'd rater be in the class than teaching it. The boys were pooped after thier walk in the afternoon. Gus was funny in the water and it definatley didn't seem to bother him at all such a cruisy little guy!! Tenties I bet you are hanging out for your car!

Hi Guys, For the multiple dog households I just thought I would make a thread of family doggy portraits. I'm not sure if this has been done in the past it probly has but anyway. I have lots of my lot all together and I love them so just thought I'd share and hope you will do the same. A few spring to mind when I think of your whole pack, Terranik, Ruthless, Evolving, B&C, Clicking Mad, Kirislin, Newfsy, CW EW, Ravyk, Huga, just to name a few. Here is some of my favorites from the past couple of years I post this one first as it is my all time favorite. This one was about 2 years ago Bronson was only a pup but I just love it, the whole gang with thier daddy Another one from around the same time, this is me and my mum with the gang This one was last year, we went to Best friends holiday retreat and despite the fact that it rained the whole time we were there, we still had a great time and so did the dogs and I think this photo shows how much fun we had, it is a happy photo! From left to right my sister, my nephew, and my mum. Another one of my favorites a more recent shot. This is another one from a couple of years ago, Coop not looking but still I love this shot, it was in the pet section in the herald sun at the time. This is my whole family last Christmas, pity my OH is scooched down in the seat and you can't see him properly but all the dogs are looking thats the main thing ;) This one was just a quick snap shot with my mobile phone at the park a couple of months ago, they all look bedraggled in this shot as it was wet and they had been running through the puddles! I hope you guys will add your own, I love family portraits.

Well keep up the good work, You just never know what has happened in the time before you got him, but if you tread carefully and go the right way about it there is no reason why he won't turn out to be a great k9 citizen!!

I agree with all that's been said but don't be so quick to give up on his socialization. He is only a baby and in the coming few months is the best time for him to be around other stable sociable dogs to teach him they arent all like the puppy at the puppy classes. He may just be the kind of dog that will play or be sociable with dogs that arent in his face. All my lot are like that happy to be with any dogs but they don't like full on dogs in thier face and so they shouldn't most of these full on dogs we meet have not been socialized that is why they are how they are. Dogs don't need to actually play full on with one another. With my lot when we are out and about they are happy being in the company of other dogs and we will walk or go to the beach and every doggie is happy. As for the food I'm betting that somewhere along the line your puppy school instructor is talking up the science diet because they sell it where you are attending? I may be wrong?? The food that is best for your pup is the one he does the best on and this may not become apparent till he is older. is your pup a rescue? how come you got him so early? any photos??

Sounds like you are doing a great job with your pup. What you are doing sounds fine. I am not familiar with Guide Dogs but am familiar with SEDA and thier requirements may vary, they like the pups to be able to go to work with the carer and basically be with the carer where ever they go if possible. Maybe you would benifit from asking guide dogs what they think is fair, did you get guide lines to follow to start with?? Do you get an option of keeping Mindy if she doesn't make the cut as a Guide Dog? Does she go to a training center when she is 12 months? As for your Mum I have no advice really apart from not to put too much responsibility on her if she is not feeling the love, sorry no other adivce on that one!! Is your mum able to get herself another dog? might help her.

Have you had him long? Any reason for not socializing him before now?
