  1. Thanks for the info I will follow it all up tomorrow.
  2. I don't work Sundays so that will be good but my boss said as soon as I know date to let him know. Have you had your police check done? Did it take long, I might have to head to the cop shop tomorow to get mine sorted.I might email Vanda in the morning and just make sure my application hasn't been over looked although I did get the letter saying she had my paperwork?
  3. Well done to your son, he sounds like a special boy! I have mailed all paperwork apart from the police check, it did say in the paperwork to bring that on the day. I'm not even sure what to do with it, am I supposed to take it to my local police station? Sorry for rail roading your thread!
  4. That's great, hope I will get notification soon too, I am looking forward to it, and work is a bit of an issue, they need a bit of notice for me to have a day off, so they can get someone else to do my shift! Also meant to say in my first post how awesome to have your names up in the club room on a big trophy!!
  5. Well done guys, love to hear happy dog stories!! Keep up the good work..... Curious as to the delta date? Did they give you an exact date for the dogs assessment? & human induction day? I haven't heard anything yet, was worried as I am going on holidays this week.

  8. Happy Birthday Tanya, hope your having a great day!!
  9. Hi there, removal of the glands would be definatley a last resort. WHat is her diet like now, what is her main food source. One of my girls had an anal gland problem a while ago and I took her to the vets a couple of times as soon as I noticed her scooting, her glands were never over full or impacted so we decided to give her more fibre in her diet, at the time her diet was meat (human grade Mince) and vegetables and also bones in the way of chicken necks, wings and lamb bones. So it was easy I went and got phsyillium husks (get them from the health food store) and just added a teaspoon full to her food each night. It really worked with her, she still scooted a little bit but then she was able to express the glands herself due to the extra fibre. A lot of vets recommend metamucil but it has other stuff in it that the dogs don't need the main part is the phys husks. How old is Jesie?
  10. Hi I don't post a lot of replys in a lot of thread and Im sure there are others like me also, I enjoy seeing Elbies progress. Why were you going to have the thread deleted?? Just curious, especially when you have taken so much time to keep a lovely record of his progress.

  14. Oh Shan I tried to get you on FB chat before but you were gone! I will be up for walks this weekend too, (providing my tooth is ok it is still giving me grief, been back to the dentist!) Deb wants to go Sunday arvo so we might be able to orgainze that after dog school. I will be at training. Laura is coming in this weekend too. Glad the collar and lead fit nicely! Who knows it might still be on the cards for you to keep Mobes if she is still around when you get back? How is she healing? Glad you like the tatt. They don't really hurt that much!
  15. Wow 14 that's young, any pics of yours? Glad you will finally be getting your car fixed!
  16. To think how inhumane some of the human race is just disgusts me!! Sometimes I am ashamed to be a part of a race where other humans can be responsible for such henious (sp) acts as animal cruelty. Geez let the people that did this loose for all of DOL to punish, now that I would like to see! Poor Doggies, my heart goes out to them and all cruelly treated animals.
  17. Poppy is adorable! I hear you with the toilet training, it can be a long hard road, 3 of mine were great all trained by about 4 - 5 months but my second girl was a nightmare, she was not reliable inside till she was 9 months old. At the time you think when is it going to end but then it all seems to fall into place. I guess every dog is different! Have fun with Poppy, she looks like a real sweet heart!!
  18. Nice shots everyone, Tokkie, definatley the third one of Nandi is my fav!! Mine for this week, nothing special just a snapshot!
  19. i did design the tatt myself, which I was pretty darn proud of only been about a year in the making but I knoew when it was right it would be right! Tez, I would come with you if you wanted to get one, I have an awesome tatt guy who is a friend of mine, his work is great! I thought it better to stay out of the cold today so i didn't go to training, and the tooth is still achey worst luck, hoping by the time I have all the ABs that it will be much better.
  20. Well see that was the theory, I was already in pain whats a little bit more
  21. I KNOW! Freaky windy and soooo cold, the dogs were outside before and they were actually shivering probly becasue they are really short they had hair cuts the other day, I don't usually worry in winter as they are inside mostly but I have been rugging them up to go out, it is ferrel and not good for my god dam tooth abscess, Im well and truly over it I tell you!! In regard to the crazy dog lady, one of my friends is not a fan of tatts and she said to me she didnt think they look good or at all dignified on old people and i just said well when Im old and ancient I can just say when people ask about my tatt, "well in my hey day I was known to everyone as the crazy dog lady!!"
