  1. Oh bugger, hoping for a speedy fix for you! And just when your probably getting used to it!
  2. Wow that will be great if we get to meet, more than likely it will definatley be the same assessment day. I'm hoping it will be September and not to much later. The hospital on board here hasn't been inducted vet and afaik there is no one visiting yet, we are still hoping to get at least one more facility around town. So many people have said the assessment is easy for the dogs to pass but I'm not getting my hopes up, just hoping at least one of my girls will pass. I will be proud of both of them but very proud of Tully if she passes as she has a wheely phobia that we have been working on soo fingers crossed. Good luck to you and Dezzy too and we may see you on the day!
  3. Love em!! The tart shots are priceless, that look on Joeys face is amazing!!
  4. Maws is about but i know she has been very busy this week! Hope she will be along soon.
  5. Wow she is growing so quicklime beautiful photos, she is a gorgeous girl!
  6. Hey Jj, I wanted to reply to your dodgy email in the other thread but it wouldn't let me. Wouldn't you think if they had owned a Vizsla they would know how to spell the actual breed? I say dodgy! Tanya it would be great if you could bring the big fella out for a play on Sunday arvo. I am soooo hoping the weather is ok for the weekend. Jj I reckon your house would be quiet minus 2 dogs, love the pic of Lilly on FB. Tez, poor little Gus, Mine have had a few gutsas over the years, it is amazing how tough they are!
  7. You can never over do the number of photos, the more the merrier I say Great shots, I wonder what eventually made her recognize it was you, maybe in the way you asked her to do something jogged her memory? Your doggies look like they have a wonderful life!
  8. Mine all sleep inside, one crated and three not. We go to bed around 10ish, and get up at varied times, depending on work the weather etc anywhere between 7 and 10 if i sleep in the dogs sleep in. They let me know if they want to go out. Two ring the bell I have hanging on the door, one gives a little bark and the one in the crate cries if he wants a wee or a drink. Sometimes they all go out for a wee early and then we all go back to bed, that depends what time we have gone to bed. I love my morning doggy cuddles. My OH let's Bron out of his crate when he goes to work at 6 and he gets on the bed, so usually when I wake up I am surrounded by 4 little furry bodies!
  9. They are great, love the iceicle shot the best!
  10. Awww cute little snags The only time i have seen all 4 of mine snuggle together was after we went to the snow, I guess they figured the closer they were to each other the quicker they would warm up after thier snow romp!!
  11. That looks awesome. How long did he have to have your car for to measure up then to fit it? I have had an email back from them today, the price is not bad but then we have to factor in two trips to Melbourne 7 - 8 hour round trip. I have to weigh up how much I really want one?
  12. gotta love snuggly puppies, great thread! My older 2 cuddled a lot when they were younger, occasionally now they will sleep closely but not so cuddly any more unless we are in the car. This one is in the car, Tully was there too but she was just out of the picture. Loving everyones photos.
  13. It's quiet in here, just had to post something, didn't want us getting to far down the page
  14. Georgia is only 6 1/2 months old. So quite a while to go before she's allowed to be tested. And yes I'm in Victoria. Georgia started obedience at four months. At the last level she was one of only two dogs in the class that got put up on testing day. The trainers think Georgia's smart enough to go all the way with her obedience. I feel like a bragging Mum here. I hadn't made contact with Delta yet because of her age, but TerraNik has sent me some forms to look at via email. I don't think there is any point filling any of them in at this stage. But maybe it wouldn't hurt to put a call through to them and see what they say. It definatley can't hurt, just touch base with them and have a chat.
  15. Love the black and white, thier expressions say it all!!
  16. Wow thats great she is definatley Delta dog material, how old is she? Are you in Victoria? I am not sure if the age is 12 or 15 months. Why don't you give the Delta society a call and ask them what is required and if you have any facilities in your area. They may send you the paper work for you to have a look over. Does Georgia go to obedience?
  17. I like the shot, but my eyes don't ;) It's similar to a shot I took the other day and I kept looking at it and thinking yea its ok, then no it's crap In this shot and your Bec, I like the movement and you can clearly tell what the subjects are. I guess for me they would be better if the subjects were a little more focused.
  18. http://www.ozdoggy.com.au/ozdoggy/profile.jsp?ozdoggyid=3466 Has anyone had any dealing with this place? I have sent them an email inquiring about price etc. I was bold vesterday when I seen two boxers in the back of a Holden wagon at first I was admiring the dogs then I noticed the cage in the back. The lady that owner the car came along so I asked her about it. She opened the back and showed me how it was attached and who made it. She couldn't remember how much they were. Great idea for the dogs in the back of the wagon, especially in summer. Does anyone know of any other places that do similar cages so I could compare prices?
  19. Thanks for the info, much appreciated!
  20. Good luck, I'm sure your girl will be bending over backwards to get a pat from every single kid!! Have you got any paperwork at all? There is a lot to fill in. Maybe it's different where you are, we have to have all paperwork handed in before assessment day. This involved filling in the dogs detailed application form, the vets assessment, a copy of the dogs vaccination certificate and two references for me and the girls. I also have police check paperwork which I take on the day of the assessment.
  21. Sounds like the perfect time for a new puppy ! ;) I'd have another one in a heartbeat........but I also have a husband who has been very tolerant of my doggy passion and he says 4 is enough!
  22. Welcome to DOL, what sort of puppy are you getting? I have had 4 puppies in the last 4 years and there is nothing I would do differently if I had the time over again. I am extremely happy with how they have all grown up, the baby of the pack is now 2 and 1/2.
