  1. My lot have one each, the medium size. I got mine from pet stock, I paid $15 each for them. Originally I only got 3 then I wanted another one and petstock had ran out so I went to our other pet shop in town (a small local business) and they were charging $25 so I waited till pet stock got them back in. The refills are really exxy like about $14 for a pack (not sure how many are in them) Teebs are your guys big chewers, I would think they would maybe need the large size. It doesn't take long for my lot to go through the treat, then they start on the actual toy (the ends are like nylabones)
  2. I have been hanging out for this thread! Fable is beautiful. Your photos are awesome! What do Jedi and Ahsoka think of their new little sister? You need a new siggy now! Eta congratulations on your new addition!!
  3. Well done Elbie Gotta love it when they are well behaved. One of my memorable puppy classes was when Bron was a pup, he slept the whole way through the class, all the other pups were running around doing thier thing and Bronson slept through the whole thing! Nice that you have other DOLers in your class too. ILDD Indi is gorgeous!!
  4. I have always remembered you said that once before, and I have been on the look out for the hat and pipe ever since. I have mentioned it to others and they are like OMG yes he could so be Sherlock!!
  5. RJ I think it's great you trying to help find these kitties a home. There is lots of people who would take on a free kitty and do the right thing also. I have always done it with my cats, I payed well over $300 for my pedigree boy and still had to get all vet work done and reg with council and he is a pet cat. so I'd like to think people who adopt kitten from other than RSPCA like you and me still will do the right thing by them, but I guess like a lot of things there is good and bad and whether we like it or not it's just the way the world is!
  6. Glad you liked the little vid, it came out well! About the kitties, like I said I didn't really have a clue as it has been a long time since I had to do any of that stuff. That really does make them cheap from the RSPCA. Hey did you see my thread in the photo section of Coop today at Port?
  7. Gorgeous shots, LR is awesome, you will love it!
  8. I don't think I have met a dog that doesn't like the beach, I always took mine for thier first beach experience somewhere that they could go in the shallow water and no waves so they got used to it. Mine love to play in the beach and will go in the broken waves but prefer to swim in the river or river mouth with no waves. If you are able once your pup is fully vaccinated take him to the beach I'm sure he will love it!!
  9. He was a good boy and your first sentence is not the first time I have heard that about Cooper. A few people have told me he seems almost human and he does too! I once had a boy about 10 look in the window of the car and then he blurted out "oh its a dog I thought it was a person" he was looking closer to see as he was perplexed about what exactly it was sitting in the car. Cooper does take on a very human role in the car sitting up eerily like a human
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K05RNnf7n3M Helen I made this video with windows movie maker, you can add photos and videos. Not sure if thats the sort of thing your after? But it is fairly basic.
  11. his ears are his trade mark!! Yes it is excellent that they let dogs in, I think I said in my last thread when we visited that they would love to have a resident dog but it is just to hard to manage. Hopefully they are going to become part of a pet therapy program and will be able to have regular visits, which will be great for the residents. Just to see the other ladies light up today when they seen Cooper (not to mention my Oh's mother) One of the ladies said Cooper was the beautifulest dog she had ever seen in the whole world :D that cracked me up, especially as he had spent some of the visit looking at himself in the mirror!!
  12. Another week where I can't decide, I think I will use one of the ones with the OH and Coop but thought Id post the others here anyway. Helen sorry you have been sick, hope your on the mend now!
  13. Thanks we had a lovely day and made some resident ladies happy!
  14. Still looking at himself int he mirror. All this visiting is hard work! A little run when we left then home
  15. Today we went to visit my OH's mum she is in respite again after an illness this time. We decided to take Cooper for a visit today. Cooper is 4 now and he has come a long way in the last 18 months. He never used to like men and mostly on meeting a new male he did not cope at all and got himself very upset. After a lot of work and putting some really good advice in to play he is finally able to be comfortable in mostly all situations these days although I never get complacent as I know there is potential for him to regress back into old ways but I am hoping that it is all behind us now. We only came across one male today an elderly man who walked past us in the halls of the Hospital and there was no reaction what so ever. I was very proud of my boy!! While we were there one of the nurses came onto the room and asked me if I would take Coop to visit a couple of the other residents which I did and he thought he was very special and the ladies he visited with just loved him, the nurse said it made thier day!! Anyway here is some photos. Making himself at home Looking at himself in the mirror Nanny had treats. Checking out the bathroom
  16. Awww she sure looked like she was having a ball!
  17. Ok now you HAVE to take a photo of the glamor shoot and post them for us to see!! Go on I dare you Good luck to your sister finding homes for the kittys. I'm thinking it would be a cheap option if someone wanted a kitten to get one and desex. If they go to the Shelter, they will be a lot more expensive. Im not up with cost on desexing, its been about 5 years since my boy was done and 18 since my girl was done.
  18. Not far really just across from you in Warrnambool!!
  19. Jess in my experiences at AP dogs usually stick with their owners, I have never met an unfriendly dog there and the people that frequent the park are great and very casual. If they can see you are working they would avoid also there is a lot of park so you could pick a quiet corner and go for it! On occasion we go there and there is no one and other days there is lots of regulars. So hard to guess how many might be there at any given time.
  20. Oh I just noticed your in Ballarat, only a couple of hours from me!!
  21. Sounds like here, mine are on EP as well, just changing them over gradually from a meat and veg etc diet to dry and bones. I have two that are over weight and one that is perfect weight and one tha tis hard to keep weight on. Makes it rather difficult to get the food thing right lots of supervising and seperating to make sure the two little piggys don't eat the other twos left overs They all love to run and excersise but it is hard to do a lot this time of the year with the weather being so crappy! Bring on summer!!
  22. I thought thats what they were, they look huge in the photos, very nice looking doggies indeed!!
  23. They look like they are having fun, beautiful doggies what breed are they??
