Good doggies! I always thought you only had 4 whips? I think cats are a whole different ball game, they run and they have that air about them, I think the dogs sense that cats think they are superior!

Pesh, places like DWI and eglobal are great for prices, their lenses are grey imports but usually with 12 months warranty. If you want an Aussie seller, camera pro is very good and their prices are quite good too. The thing with a macro lens that you wont get with the setting on your camera is a 1:1 ratio so it makes what your shooting life size. It is amazing fun shooting stuff with a macro lens, its reasonably difficult till you get the hang of it. Can't help with what sort to buy I only know that the bigger the number the further away you can be with your camera, so say if you have a 50mm you will need to be reasonably close to your subject which is fine for static items but if you are shooting something you don't want to scare or it to scare you you can be further away with say the 100mm. Just as an example if you seen my spider shots in here, I was probly about 10 - 12 inches away from it and I have the 100mm Some of the Nikon crowd might chime in here with recommendations.

Ahhh the burning question, I use uv filters on all my lenses but not expensive ones. I've been told a few times no point putting cheap filters on as it won't do your photos any justice. I really need to fork out for some more expensive ones. I like the UV ones as it can just stay on in any condition. I don't use a lens hood so the filters for me are a way of also protection the lens from jumping licking dogs, (not always my own ) Another good question is about lens hood, do you use them or not? I don't but again been told I should?? Brands of filters, I think hoya are up there, I've look at some really pricey ones. Someone said to me the other day, why have a filter on your lens to keep it nice to sell it on to someone else, you have insurance if your lens gets scratched claim it on your insurance!

tlc replied to Pinarelloman's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
All 4 of my puppies were out and about at 8 weeks, we avoided the beach and highly populated dog areas. I checked with my vet and we hadn't had any reported cases of Parvo in the area for a long time. -
And a couple more of my favourites from our first play. added a little texture to this one.

Just a few from our first play date with Russell. Tully was a little hard on the poor little fella but he took it in his stride and it didn't bother him at all. RJ is the Dog whisperer!
